I beat ya by a minute.
LMVICTORIOUSAO!!!
I was talking about the paycut Wade would have to take to get Melo in with Bosh walking to Houston. And if Riley doesn't screw Haslem over Wade would have to take a paycut down to $4 million. Yeah, don't see that either.
I beat ya by a minute.
LMVICTORIOUSAO!!!
I wasn't disagreeing with you, I was just pointing out differences. You're the Philo here
Bosh is getting a max offer from Houston. He's not gna accept 9-10 mil for ing mcbob to join![]()
Melo isn't taking less than max. The only possible way to make it work is a Bosh sign and trade to New York for Melo. Then Wade plays for about $8 million or so to allow them to still pay out that MLE to McRoberts.
With this news it's starting to look like Cleveland is a huge frontrunner to get James back. LeBron wanted Riley to improve the roster, and he has failed and Pat has nowhere to go now.
Bosh would be joining a younger team and a more complete roster. Though it is in the West and much, much, more compe ive. Wish this process would hurry up and start moving and not live on a steady diet of speculation.
So it's pretty much guaranteed one of the Big 3 is gone at the very least.
No. Miami could still pay James $22M and Bosh+Wade combined $30M and be a little under the luxury tax.
I don't want Bosh in Houston, but it looks like it's going to happen.
If they plan to pursue Melo, yes. It's still very possible the big 3 comeback, which is why mcbob agreed to the MLE. But do they really think the mcroberts addition was the missing piece to convince them to stay together?
Too bad the Spurs won't be able to land Parsons with the MLE.
LeBron back to Cleveland
Bosh to Houston
Wade to the retirement home
The Spurs killed the Heat!

The one they have to convince is LeBron. LOL at Arison amnestying Miller to save a few million and it's going to cost him James and all the huge merchandise sales and playoff revenue.
CHARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Broussard is a moron. A max offer for Bosh would be 4 years, 35% of the cap starting salary, with 5% non-compounded raises. It would be 4 years, $95 million, just like the max offer repeatedly reported for Carmelo.
Can we please stop quoting Broussard?![]()
No ...SAS is right more often.![]()
Why not? Houston would be even softer and still not win ....
If Carmelo does go to Miami it would be the dumbest move he can possibly make in his career. Who the would give him an ounce of credit for winning championships with LeBron James? People would just say he is too scared to compete with the best if his era. And Chris bosh getting offered a max deal with the Rockets?? Do any of these general managers even watch basketball? He is basically a $10 million a year player at the most. I can't even fathom people being dumb enough to give that clown a max contract.
I agree that is too much for Bosh ...
Bosh to Houston is nice on paper, but they still have McHale at coach and arguably the worst system in basketball..
Carmelo to Miami would be a downgrade from Bosh, it wouldn't work, at all, tbh..
