Is McRoberts and Granger signing for the minimum or something? Lebron wants more money, Bosh wants more and Wade probably won't take a cut. Where is the money coming from?
nope. mcroberts signed for the full MLE, Granger for the Bi-annual... assuming the big 3 return all they can give out from now on is vet-minimum deals

Lol what a . I remember during the 2012 playoffs he was acting like a tough guy and would always be in an altercation with the heat. Now he coattails them to get a ring

Miami signing a bunch of players again as if it matters. Granger is Lebron James 2.0, signing with champion contenders instead of leading his own team to glory.

I'm a little confused. Miami created cap space by the big 3 opting out, so how can use the MLE? I know they retain bird rights for the 3, but shouldn't they have to use there available cap space to sign players?

Nevermind...Miami did not renounce their rights, so i guess they stay on their salary.

If they have cap space, the deals come out of the cap space. If the big 3 re-up, they get them using the exceptions.

Question, if both Granger and McRoberts both agreed to sign with Miami predicated on James signing there, if James goes elsewhere, can they cancel their agreements?

They can do anything they want up until the 10th (or past the 10th) depending on when they sign their actual contract.

I thought his leg was dead and needed constant treatment just for it to work on a regular basis? Must have misread, oh well. Good character guy nonetheless.

Pretty funny how white Canadian has to log into gnsf accounts to validate his slant takes, tbh

When can you actually sign players to contracts? Is it at 12:00am on the 10th or the 11th?

Thanks. Had a quick look at that link. Why are the dates different in other years?

They close the books for an NBA season on June 30th. The salary cap and tax levels for the new season, among other things, are calculated during the moratorium. It appears that the dates on that list represent the 7th business day in July for each year.
