I was 8 back in 1990 so my memories are very vague, remember people going nuts with Goycochea penalty saves and every one insulting Klinsmann and the Mexican ref for the Penaldo in the final. (clown was unchallenge all tournament due to LVG playing a 5-3-1 lineup which put numbers behind the ball and tactic of football was boring in first half with the high possession doing nothing, imo krul wouldve had the same outcome if he was no.1 choice all tournament; rarely challenge due to players behind the ball)
