Not at all, ya see they believe in a superior being. There is no reason to try and sell "your" superior being. It's when we encounter guys like CN who are totally clueless that gets me.
I was assuming you were referring to the Christian god specifically, as opposed to Zeus or Krishna
As we all know different cultures have their own unique way of saying the same thing. There was some divine intervention. There is no need of any kind to debate/argue your God vs theirs. We are humans we're going to have that sort of thing.
It's we we encounter total fools like CN who is totally lost. He was raised around religion, where he lives there are churches all over the place yet the guy prefers to act stupid.
They don't say the same thing. The son of god don't actually walk the earth according to Judaism yet it is a staple of Christianity. Those are quite significant differences. Throughout history the deeds of "gods" were often things they didn't understand at the time. The Greeks had no clue what lightning was or where it came from, and thus the myth of Zeus was born. History has repeated itself but as science and technology progress, those questions get answered and this religion plays a smaller and smaller role as time goes on. Some, like Greek mythology, are completely outdated and useless. Religious activity and involvement has been on a steady decline for the past 400 years. It's a trend I anticipate to continue
We are all aware of how different the religions are, bottom line however is that they all believe in something not of this world, a master designer. That's all that matters.
Obviously you don't watch much news or pay attention to global affairs. If ya did you'd know the impact religious beliefs have on this world, it's huge!!!! Imagine an atheist in the White House, why will that never happen? Where ever you live you are what an hour or less from some church, why is that?

Ever said it had no impact on the globe. It's certainly of declining impact. You mention the White House. When was the last time Christianity actually affected any White House action? When was the last time Obama made an executive act which was representative of his faith?
When was the last time any president let his faith decide anything? The point is this country will always have a man of religion as it's leader, why is that?
Now tell me, what chance would a guy who said....there is no God.....stand as the leader of any country?
