If the only evidence supporting it was bunk, that should have been the way it was treated.
The time to start accepting a theory is when there is evidence for it, not before. The only exception to this is religion, which approaches things the other way around.
Wheres your evidence?

All that above and it's STILL...
Only a total moron would think we all came from little sea things.
Hmmmm? Another 40 plus page thread by..me, that's gotta be some record.
It really is funny how we can have....BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....and we got all this. That is believable?
Many millions of years ago some sea critters crawled out of the abyss and......cows, spiders, crows, humans, eagles, ants etc etc etc all came out of it. That is believable?
That is as hard to buy as....some Master Designer designed all this.
How did we get all those different kinds of spiders?
I challenge anyone to explain how that came about without sending me to some link.

Same way we got all those VERY different looking, very different sounding humans: God made every single one of them while not getting his hands or flowing white robe dirty or getting any biological bits stuck in that beautiful Duck Dynasty beard or girly man hippy hairdo.
OK, maybe he had some help from a few angels who were good with their hands.
Excellent take.
We have toy poodles and Maltese, but also Rottweilers, commodores, and pitbulls
avante did god make all those? Or do you know the history of dogs?
Why would He have a problem with something that simple? What's way out there is....dogs, cats, rats, bats all came from little sea creatures, hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You didn't answer my question
Sure I did.
I asked if you knew how we got all the different breeds of dogs.
Do you know the history of dogs?
A couple little sea things crawled out of the abyss on the same beach at the same time and wouldn't ya know it a male and a female so they mate and we get a couple other litt......anyway, after millions of years....dogs.
Close?
You could have just said "no. I don't know the history of dogs"
that would have been sufficient
We all know the history of dogs little guy.
you sure don't seem like you do
Some of you guys would really benefit from taking a class on evolutionary theory, tbh.
I don't understand how anyone can believe in Evolution. How does anyone look at another person and conclude that they were created/came to exist by chance or no reason at all. Just a random occurrence not seen anywhere else in the observable universe. Let's say you're walking down the street and find an iphone. Let's say you've never seen this technology before. The first thing that pops in your head is this piece of technology created itself/happened randomly? I just don't see it that way. And I don't see how anyone can honestly think that way.
Where are all those stages of evolution? Where are all those Eagles before we got todays Eagle? And while we'll read....Dogs came from the wolf. we don't get anything really believable about how we came up with all the different kinds of dogs.
I don't care if 100 billion goes by ya can't change a fish into a bird.
so you asked somebody to explain spiders without a link, and yet here you are using a link to explain dogs. kudos
the only reason the theory of evolution came about was a way to explain the evidence we have. that's all theories are.
when we see evidence, or phenomena, a theory is our attempt to make sense of it in a rational way. when fossils showed us just how many species of animals there were and are no longer, and when we see just how diverse life is, a rational attempt to explain it is that new species can arise. especially when we can sort of draw lines/branches from existing animals today. we can see humans are closer to apes than they are to other mammals like wild cats. but we can see how dogs, wolves, foxes are similar.
other evidence has arisen, such as genetic mapping.
a misconception on the scientific community in general is that they invent a theory, and then go out and look for evidence in an effort to confirm the theory. it actually works the other way around. all theories (at least when talking about scientific theory) are results of evidence. when people look at older scientific theories and laugh at how they have been proven to be wrong, that's not a knock of science at all. in fact its a compliment. in light of new evidence, it is only reasonable for the theory to change.
Why do you constsntly do that? Dude, stop acting like nobody knows all that stuff, ok?
Sheesh~~~~~~~~~~
