I'll be really upset if I find out Avante is just a mouse troll
lol angry mouse always resorts to making it personal with some lame ad hominem.
That's how we can tell you're angry.
I'll be really upset if I find out Avante is just a mouse troll
ok I'm angry I'm like the angry black man. I have steam coming out of my ears...
WTF does that have to do with you avoiding the topic?
ok we get it you spotted an angry old man...answer the dam questions already.
The real kicker will be when you find out that YOU'VE been just a mouse troll this whole time and just didn't know it.
I dealt directly with the issue I brought up.
You just got angry and started calling names.

I knew you would come through.......

It's simple you don't get a
From a random explosion of nothing..
I don't care how many apes ed 2 million years ago...
what you care about is irrelevant
I seriously doubt mouse can do this.
Best SWAC running backs in the NFL

So where are all those stages of evolution that got us todays Blue Jay?
So you didn't read anything about evolution.
OK.
Thank you.
The link is a case in point, and exactly the kind of thing I was talking about. My brief run through of the electrical engineer critiquing the biological sciences counted 12 factual mistakes, and two logical fallacies before I stopped trying to identify them all.
This is what is known as a strawman logical fallacy. Coyne would say nothing of the sort.

To answer your question:
Because it gives gullible, lazy people quick links to post on message boards to make it seem like evolution is flawed. The only thing it really does though, is shows how completely ignorant creationists actually are about the evidence and theories.
Do you think it was a good critique of Coyne's book?
He is not. Mouse is incapable of mimicking another persons language and style for longer than a few posts. Avante is at least much more functionally literate than mouse will ever be.

The theory of evolution is not really a theory...go check remote islands in the middle of nowhere and you'll see that species on that island are different from other types on the mainlands. That fact cannot be argued with....
But...I don't understand this...and it's prob the reason why I don't think humans evolved from apes/monkeys. Dinosaurs have been on the earth a lot longer than humans have. We know this...we find their fossils all over the world. We can Carbon date them back to 60+ million years ago. (give or take a few million years) How come we've never found any fossils of the "missing links" between humans and apes? If it takes millions of years to evole....there should be countless examples of these "links" between man and ape. I've done research (prob not enough) on these missing fossils and I've read some pretty intresting articles....I just haven't read anything plausible that can alleviate my concerns. I mean it's real simple...where are all the fossils at??
Guess it's a government conspiracy....like everything else. But I will say this....ever seen Patrick Ewing? He's prob the closest thing to a "missing link" I can think of. So...it's possible.
HAHAHAHAHAHA...
My new internet favs.
You claim evolution happens, and you know humans are relatively new and other animals were here millions of years before us. So if you don't think we are descendants of other apes, what's your personal theory?
It's simple...I'm a christian. I believe God created man.......Ooooh Boy...here it comes now. But that doesn't mean that evolution isn't possible. I just believe man was created by God. Now a Galapagos tortoise is another deal altogether.
BTW...why do I venture this far downstairs. I'm terrified of all you The Club/Political Forum people.
I'm not here to ridicule but there are people like mouse who just troll and people like Avante who refuse to apply intelligence to conversation.
I just don't see consistency of millions of years of evolution in other animals then... Bam. Randomly planting human beings. Just doesn't seem to fit. And that's not even accounting for genesis saying humans came what, a single day after the other animals?
I'm not saying that you are trying to "ridicule" me or any other person who believes in creationism. So...if I came off that way I apologize. I'm sure you're aware...it's called "faith". Some people choose to believe in it...some people don't. I can't 100% say you're right or wrong....it's just simply what I choose to believe.
But back to my initial point...Where are all the fossils at? Have you ever researched this topic???....it's got some pretty interesting explanations. Well I find most/all of them bizarre...but again that's just me.

There are lots of fossilized remains... habilis, erectus, etc. there are also many many species, primate and otherwise, that weren't fortunate enough to be fossilized for us to see. And the fossils we do uncover are usually isolated
Anyone intelligent is not going to buy....BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....then perfection. Way too many things having to work together to pull this off, noway in it happened because of.....BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
