    He spent most of his career as a wingback, not a WR. He spent his senior season as a tailback. This isn't even disputable which is why this is so pathetic

    I didn't even realize he played runningback in high school too, it makes sense though. You don't waste that kind of athleticism on a high school team on a guy who'll only touch the ball on a quarter of the possessions at WR. Especially not back then.

    http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/classic/bio/news/story?page=Flowers_Richmond

    But tbh, I'll switch my position on this. Even though a Wingback is more RB than WR, (hence the back in the name, and playing in the slot versus out wide...) he wasn't a full time tailback until his senior season. He had already slowed down by then because of injury, and I don't know how his senior season track feats match up on the GWRBOAT (greatest white runningbacks of all time) list.
    Smart move backing off....fastest white running back. He's not!

    There have been four that were faster than Flowers, go ahead shorty.....who?

    Here's one of them winning the Olympic gold medal in the 100m

    Here we go, the fastest "white" running backs ever.

    Lindy Remigino won the Olympic 100m in 1952 he was a HS running back.

    Marty Glickman was a 1936 Olympian and a running back while at Syracuse.

    Glen "Mr.Outside"*** Davis Army was one of the nations top sprinters, he'd win the Heisman and played with the Lions.

    9.3 SMU sprinter John Roderick was a running back but once on the Dolphins was switched to receiver, didn't work.

    Heisman winner Billy Cannon out of LSU was a 9.5 sprinter, played with the Oilers/Raiders.

    Tim Dwight who starred with the Falcons was a WR/RB while at Iowa, a 10.3 guy who would win the Big10 100m.

    *** While at Army Davis played along side a big fullback Doc Blanchard. They were the original thunder n' lightnin' duo as far as the college game goes (Bronco Nagurski & Red "The Galloping Ghost" Grange with the Bears the first) Blanchard would also win a Heisman.

    Hugh "The King" McElhenny (Washington/Niners) was a stud hurdler in HS and obviously had great speed.

    "Jaguar" Jon Arnett (USC/Rams)was a long jumper who ran on the 4x1 team, could really motor.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Right now Oregon has a white receiver named Devon Allen, he won the 110 at not just the NCAA but our Nationals, he's a 13.16 guy which is "world class". He'd be in with another Oregon hurdler/receiver Jerry Tarr, he ran on a WR 4x1 team. Flowers belongs here also.
    Ok, week 11
    36-29 plus $1210
    110 to win 100
    Cleveland -3...no Arian Foster, no QB for Houston
    NO - 7....won't lose two home games in a row.
    GB - 6...Packers at home laying less than a TD?
    NE + 3....Belichick/Brady coming off a bye.
    Ariz-2....Lions 0-7 ATS last 7 vs Cards. Last season losing 21-24. 2012 losing 10-38.
    Atl +2....gut feeling
    Wash-7...gut feeling
    So I have....Drew Brees,Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady in my corner. The team with the best record and a Browns team that's won 5 of 6 vs a Texan team that has won 2 of last 6.
    Will be playing Pitt-6 on MNF just not sure for how much, yet.
    Here I have the best MNF team in the league vs one of the leagues weaklings.
    I realize ya lay in wait for me to have a bad week, haha!!!!!!!! Since week one...36-26 and I think by now it's pretty obvious I'm not going to be losing any $$$$$, remember I started off -330.
    I do see both Denver and Chargers winning but simply too many points to lay in these "spots". That being Denver back to back on the road, Raiders 7-3ATS last 10 vs Chargers.
    Yep, fun, hahahahaha!!!!!!!!
    Ok...
    The trends have the Panthers in this "spot". I just have a feeling they are falling apart as a team. Hence...gut feeling. The Falcons are still in the mix in that weak ass division
    The Redskins at home coming off a bye vs a weakass Buc's team, why not pull the trigger?
    I like to play "one score" games if I can. I look for those plays first.
    why did you put one score in quotes, as if it was some ambiguous statement?
    While Riddley was pretty good this Jonas Gray is a stud.
    The Pats not really known for great backs, their all time rushing leader....Sam "Bam" Cunningham*** (brother of Randall)
    Their first good back back in the Boston Patriot days was Larry Garron out of Western Illiois, a speed guy. Big Jim Nance a former Syracuse wrestler was their first 1000 yard rusher. They did have Curtis Martin and Corey Dillon but they did their best work on other teams.
    ***Story goes when Alabama came out west (with their alll white team) to play USC, Cunningham ran all over them. Bear Bryant the Bama coach knew right then things had to change in the south if they were going to compete on the national stage.
    In the Belichick era they haven't really had full time feature backs... they've done a good job with spreading the wealth there. I remember in their early superbowl run Antoine Smith was a big factor but never piled on huge yards. Kevin Faulk was there for ages. Corey Dillon had a good run, Laurence Maroney was a failed experiment. But they've done well to shuffle around and get productivity when needed.
    They have never replaced Kevin Faulk , talk about a chain mover.
    Most teams have had some "great" back, like you alluded to that's not really what they do. Until tonight that is, haha!!!!!
    Jim Nance was a stud but that was back in the old AFL days.
    How about that "lethal" Seahawks team? They are sure destroying the league with that 6-4 record and allowing Jamal Charles to run all over them, tbh.
    Jonas Gray inspired... just who were the best Notre Dame backs in the NFL?
    Jerome Bettis gained more yards than any Golden Domer.
    "The Golden Boy" Paul Hornung is in the Hall of Fame.
    Now add...
    Ricky Watters
    Nick Pietrasonte...an old Lions fullback
    Greg Bell
    Allan Pinkett
    Who am I forgetting.
    Apparently Gray did little at Notre Dame. his story would be like that of old Cowboy running back Duane Thomas. Thomas was just a blocking back while at West Texas State, the star of that show was Eugene "Mercury" Morris.
