Of course he returns the night he plays the Pelicans. There goes an expected win....
Meanwhile, Vagina Splitter still feels "tightness" in his calf.
    Meanwhile, in the Russell househole...

I don't like this because if he loses, they blame the foot and claim he was never fully healthy. Either way, okc has a ways to go but I think they get into the playoffs with a high seed

High seed? Doubtful. But i think they get in for sure. Health isnt promised to anyone but they probably got their injuries early instead of late (like the clips a few seasons back) so that helps. I dont think they beat a healthy SA, but unless Clips or GSW figures some out they are the only legit threat to the Spurs.

Should be interesting. We'll see if he can break the Jones fracture curse. Still think they have dug too big of a hole to get back to the playoffs. If they do, they will have to beat themselves to death getting it done and may have nothing left for the post season. The lottery is probably a better outcome this season.
They only need to go at about a 54 win pace the rest of the year to hit 48 wins, which should easily get them into the 8 seed. Their chances at a top 7 seed are pretty slim, but they should easily be able to overtake Phoenix, Sacramento, Denver, and New Orleans if Durant and Westbrook stay healthy. Memphis can have the one seed to get stuck matched up against those ers in round 1.

that. You're the one with all the ring talk, comin' back on it now, spoutin' about the "honor" of the game in the regular season, when people are flippin' back forth 'twixt reruns of Seinfeld. Good God.
Expected, you also tanked for every single thing you own.

That's funny considering the Lakers are in line for back to back top 10 draft picks.

Came back earlier than I thought. Should take him a couple weeks to work himself into game shape so they could easily lose a few more before they get rolling. 50 wins to reach the playoffs, lets see if they do it.

Ethiopian and Chimp are already practicing.

    there's 100% chance they'll make the playoffs. there's also 25% chance they'll take the #1 or #2 seed to 7 games.
pretty much as I posted weeks ago....

as long as they peak and blow their load in the regular season, they will come crashing down in the playoffs as usual. nothing to see here move along.

not gonna happen. they need to get in shape first and that could take 1 month min. So you are looking at them getting to peak 3 months after allstar break or right before playoffs.

Sure they will manhandle the 75% of teams in the league but that won't mean anything.

so at best you are looking at them starting to click in May.

What makes you guys think 48 wins is all that's needed to get the 8 seed? Dallas needed 49 to get it last year.

    NOT

People overreacting to teams like they did when the Grizz beat the Spurs as the 8th seed. They thought they'd become the big bad wolf. They got quite the reality check.

Spurs exorcise their demon last year when they whooped their asses.

Thunder are not going anywhere this year so Spurs ain't got nothing to worry about any threat from them.

Its all about them Mavs this year, imo.

They're basically in a five team division competing for the 8th seed:

    PHX 10-8
    DEN 9-8
    SAC 9-8
    NO 7-8
    OKC 5-12

They don't have to pass any of the teams currently seeded 1 thru 7, they just have to finish on top of the group listed. With 65 games remaining, that won't be a problem. If they stay healthy, they could well be in 8th place by the ASB.

It's gonna be important for them not to drop any more games against those teams, looking into possible tie-breakers.
