Who's to say we end up winning in '06 though? And that was prime Manu still, without him, that series doesn't even go 7 games. '13 was definitive.
We would've played a Phoenix Suns team in the WCF without Amar'e, a team we repeatedly owned. And then in the Finals, we would've played a clearly inferior Miami Heat team that relied on a young D-Wade and past his prime Shaq. I like our chances in those two series tbh.

He gets way too much hate, especially for '13. The team's biggest problem is falling into predictable basketball, circling around the 3 point line with a bunch of pick and rolls that don't do anything. Against Miami it was obvious, and we were really struggling to score (how fast people forget). We needed his craziness to make things happen. It didn't work out but it would've still been a lot worse without him.

When Manu comes in he finds opportunities no one else thinks of. Sometimes... well those opportunites don't actually exist, and it's a turnover. But anyway the cost is worth it, and without him there's no way we beat the really good teams.

He came through for us when we needed him last year in the Playoffs. Good enough for a pass from me until this year's playoffs.
