I've seen worse. Ryan Perriloux. At least Mack had the common decency to de-commit.
I've only been following recruiting for a handful of years, but Mack is one of the worst I've ever seen. The only surprising thing about his decommitment was that it came the same day as the Jefferson announcement. I thought it would take a day or two at least. That guy changes his mind every 5 minutes.

Well, sort of. Sumlin found out via Twitter, like the rest of us.
That was the least surprising part of his decommitment for us Texas fans.
247 immediately deleted threads like that one.
So I guess the most surprising is that you're not in his "Top 2"?
he hasn't visited, it's not a surprise. He is visiting in late January. We'll see what happens then.
That was just a rumor. Mack called Sumlin before decommitting per multiple sources including 247.
Kyler is obviously looking around. A huge % of recruits at least second guess their decision at some point. Remember Kyler is TIGHT with Mack, Malik and Lodge and back when he committed he thought they'd all end up together - now he is the only one committed to A&M. You can discredit all the reports but where there is smoke there is fire. Still great chance he sticks with A&M.
lol Mack is not going to A&M. HE G-O-N-E! On the other hand, Kyle's dad went to A&M, so I would expect there is a good chance he will stay.
Good Lord that's a lot of asshurt.
Higdon at Scout.com says Texas has 3 silent commits.
And what if Lodge ends up at A&M? We interviewed a certain WR coach that you might know, who he's a big fan of. What if Mack ends up at LSU?
Kyler isn't going to Texas, period.
Kyler will end at A&M.
Scurred
My guess would be Devonaire Clarington and Ryan Newsome. The last is, IMO, Davante Davis or Kris Boyd.
I think that Kris Boyd is the most likely to be a silent commit out of that group. And if so then you know his brother is along with him as well, so that's 2 spots right there. The last person is a toss up but it definitely should belong to one of the others that you've listed.
I'm not making projections of these guys going to Texas. It was A&M site that reported Kyler was talking to Texas' coaches regularly. He is unlikely to go to Texas (very unlikely) but let's not be naive and say he is not looking around. I would just say Texas has great shot with Mack and is prob a longshot with Lodge or Murray. If I had to guess Mack-LSU, Lodge-Ole Miss, Murray-farmers.
