Misleading. Kobe barely played his first 2 years, was 2nd option to the most dominant big man in NBA history (until the 4th quarter), and had to set up others to give us the chance to win. Despite all that, he's the only player in NBA history with 32,000+ points and 6,000+ assists, and he was shorted 108 games***
He has had the best career for guards that came straight into the NBA from high school. He still made himself into a HOF player.
*** missed 32 games during the magical year of '99and 76 games last year.
By missing those 108 games, he left about 3,000 points on the board. He should have over 35,000+ right now. He's a scoring machinePERIOD.

we are not talking about just 2 years but 4... He is shooting machine with the record of FGAs with 4 less years than MJ.
MJ was just before his time. Kobe would have dominated the same players MJ played against. MJ didn't have to share the ball with the MDE either. Kobe's compe ion was stiffer too. Not that hard to annihilate Danny Ainge, Thunder Dan and Craig ing Ehlo tbh.
