I suggest you go back and watch the Megatron no catch.
I suggest you go back and watch the Megatron no catch.
Not lately. I've seen a lot of terrible calls in the final minutes of many games this year. , the Spurs have been ed several times already.
He had the ball for two steps, then moved the ball forward while extending for the end zone. Not sure how you didn't see that.
I was talking in general terms...the game has gotten too technical and the refs feel the pressure to call everything because they're always under the microscope
Mixing sports with different rules he did.
The worst is the lawyer speak for these rules so it leaves it open for manipulation interpretation. "Element of time", "football play" etc.... Ridiculous.
underrated point. Spurs could've used some OKC love lately, would've made a big difference in those OT losses.
From an unbiased perspective who I could care less who won the game, I've seen similar plays many times and It's been ruled incomplete 10 times out of 10. it's a ty rule, but it's the rule. sorry man
anyway we may have missed out on a great finish...had the cowgirls scored there who knows what rodgers would have done at the end
It should've been ruled a catch IMO, but the refs saw something else. That's the way the cookie crumbles
Exactly. It's getting way too technical. common sense says that's a catch.
det hashtag
Rule change.
That was a great no catch.
That kind of catch should be rewarded.
Anything less than a 20-point win would be disappointing IMO..
Manning was coasting all year, he saved himself, hopefully he doesn't coast again today in preparation for next week..
it's just the sign that with so many starting qb injuries, the playoffs were not showcasing the best teams and the distance between the elite 4 and anyone else is far bigger than expected.
Fox just had Peora (sp) on and yes, by extending it, Bryant changed it from needing to hit the ground with control to needing to control it all the way thru. Had he just kept the ball tucked and not tried to extend, would have been a catch. When extending "ground cannot cause a fumble, but ground shaking ball loose/out of control can cause a no catch."
I don't like the rule, but these multimillion dollar players and coaches have nothing but time on their hands to be aware of the rules.
^^It was a good call, but the rule should have been changed after the Calvin Johnson incident IMO..
Wow, Colts' defender trying to take Manning out..should be ejected IMO..
resistanze, good luck the rest of the way, homie.
what's stupid is the rules talking about making a "football move". Extending for the end zone is not a football move?. How can you extend the arm if you don't have control of the football?
