When did the Algerian Terrorist become a Patriots fan?
did you not hear the ref? incomplete pass!
![]()
It is my contention that the ref made an incorrect call. Saying "the refs are right because the ref said it" is textbook circular![]()
You probably think the Holy Roller was a fairly officiated game, though![]()
nah that was complete bull . even stabler admitted it years later
but that was a meaningless september game in a season where neither team made the playoffs, not a divisional playoff game, the winner of whom got to play Krdell Stew
rt in the AFC le game
not to mention there was no instant replay and they didn't overturn a call

Ask the old timers (Mono, Sook) they can confirm I'm a Cheatriots fan, you fat murican serial killer
Had never heard of the tuck rule before that game, never knew there was a such a thing.
But...
Tom Brady's fame has nothing at all to do with that game, yep, Ray Lewis is full of .
a lot of got foreigners are Patriot fans. Weird imo
you never know, they might have gone back to Bledsoe if they didn't win. also, they didn't even make the playoffs the following year, so things could have changed.
i think brady's greatness would have come out at some point anyway, but things could have been very different
Bledsoe had a very subpar season the year before that, he had a lowly 77.3 passer rating. Brady had a far better season the following year with a nice 86.6 and a far better completion %. They weren't going back to Bledsoe.
True. it's where everything started though. you never know how things could have changed if they didn't get that first trophy
Speaking of playoff games...![]()
The Patriots organization washed their hands of Hernandez, they certainly didn't embrace him and keep him around for years afterwards like Baltimore did with Ray.
#1 and #2 went against the raiders
in my lifetime, the Tuck rule is the worst call the NFL has seen
Belichick was looking for a reason to bench Bledsoe before the season started, he even said he wanted to make Brady the starter out of training camp but decided to stick with the veteran for a few more weeks.
The Pats vs. Raiders game was the 1st time I've ever seen "The Tuck Rule" called.
Since then....I've seen it called twice (It may be more...I just didn't see that game). And BOTH times it was with Tony Romo....![]()
good point if true. not gna lie and say i was following the inner workings of the pats when i was 10
that playoff game was sorta the origins of the dynasty though. where the legend was born
Actually the year after the Tuck Rule game, the tuck rule got called in another Raiders-Pats game, that time in favor of the Raiders. Also that season or the year after, there was a game where Jeff Fisher argued that the ans should have gotten a fumble reversed, because "it was a tuck, exactly like Brady's tuck".
remember that game. a lot of people mistakenly say the tuck rule was never used after that play... that's never been my issue.
I'm also wanting to say that the year BEFORE the Pats vs. Raiders "tuck rule game"....it was called against the Pats. That's why Bill said he was aware of the rule during his post game press conference....
