Is it that much difference? In America, the GTR starts at 100K and the R8 is about 115K.
In Australia the GTR starts at 180k and the R8 above 220k I'm pretty sure.. we pay through the nose in tax for luxury car's.. if you try bring one in from overseas you still need to pay the tax.

Cant believe you guys can get a GTR for 100k

Jags age horribly. I'd rather buy a Volvo than a Jag tbh.
it's not the 70's anymore... Jag is now a german brand

The Ford era is probably the worst Jaguar era tbh

Land Rover is taking care of the design nowadays... the new owner Tata is letting the brand doing his stuff without trying to communize platforms. The F type is the beginning of new era. The F pace is looking good.

The only cars that have really turned my head lately are the F type Jag for a 2 door and the Porche Panamerica for a four door.

agreed on the F type.. not obviously talking about the Ferrari / Lamborg ? Mclaren ... that are not at reach but for cars being at reach F type is ing great. Not a fan of the Porsha Panamera tbh...

But speaking of Porshe dat beast:

Still looks dated tbh. I find the 3 Germans more attractive. Lexus also nosedived with their new cars. I'm loving the new Volvos though.

The S63 AMG isn't bad either. Twice the price of the GT though...

How much do you make a year to be able to drop 180k on a car? Holy Greece is poor.

180-200k ..About the same as the GTR costs in Australia ...basically my limit on a car has always been maximum one years salary .. Ie I wouldn't spend on a car more than what I earn in a year..it's all relative I guess.. but without sounding like a that's definitely not the average salary in Australia or anything ...although we do tend to suffer from inflationary effects more than other countries it seems .. we seem to earn more than most countries but everything is ing expensive.. it has slowed a little in the last couple of years.

That brings me to my next question.. what's everyone's limit on what they would spend on a car relative to their yearly salary?

holy never heard of such limit. My cartel advisors tell my workers to not spend over 30% on their cars. It's nuts to spend more tbqh.

I bought a brand new Jeep for my brother and the damn police pushed it off a cliff with my lil brother in it the same day goes to show can happen anytime

That said I would tell my berracos not spend more than 40% salary on a car unless they have a 4 inch limp and need it for the perritas tbqh

I can't see myself ever buying a car that is currently worth more than 30-40 k in the future.
