Agreed. Aikman had great physical ability and did what he had to do, but he ran Norv Turner's offense. Jim Kelly basically ran the offense in Buffalo. He had a lot more responsibility than Aikman did.

    Favre is pretty overrated imo
Another take from Philo. Favre is actually underrated. He was an amazing QB but all anyone ever says about him is "DURR HURR INTERCEPTIONS AND PIX LOLOLOL."

Favre had like 5-6 great seasons and a ton of mediocre ones. the one thing he has that i cant take away is his durability, which is a big deal

I used to think people our age didn't appreciate Favre because we only saw him past his prime, but I also don't see what puts him even close to the same category as Montana/Marino/Elway/Brady/Manning etc. He had a long ass career but never had any record breaking seasons (in his 15 year career as a starter he had only 6 seasons with over 4000 passing yards) and it's not like he had a great saga of playoff performances.

You can also go "DURR HURR INTERCEPTIONS" all you want to try and preemptively scoff someone who brings up his interception total, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a stain on his legacy

Favre could have come out of retirement for the Super Bowl this year, signed with the Seahawks, and completed that one-yard pass at the goal line to seal the ring.

He wouldn't even be in position to complete that one yard pass because he would throw an interception early in the drive, probably a stupid one right to a defender.

Funny, he didn't throw a pick on his two-point conversion to Chmura when he played the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

That was cool. He also threw one right to Sharper with a trip to the big one on the line.

So with all the QBs who CN hates, have we finally found one (Favre) that he actually likes

Seems like a pretty random player for him to like given that he was never particularly clutch...

Elite Manning (yes, even after his draft-day tantrum) and January Joe are also among my favorite QB's, and you can't tell me they were never clutch.

So you chose your QBs based off whichever ones have had success against New England

Your NFL fanhood revolves around New England

If that were the case, I'd be a huge Fivehead and Mark Sanchez fan too since they've also beaten the Patriots in playoff games

Brett Favre started 33 games his first three seasons, RW 48, talking regular season. In his 33 starts Favre three 39 INT;s, in RW's 48 starts....26.

We can do that with all those legends/greats, none of them match what RW has done in three seasons. Eli and Flacco....hahahaha!!!!!!!!!

    - Same amount of Rings with less games needed
    - Same amount of TDs with less attempts needed
    - Less Interceptions
    - Higher Passer Rating
    - Higher Completion Percentage

What is there left to say?

Terrible argument. Counter argument - Brady was able to get his team farther in the playoffs more often than Montana.

    - Less Interceptions
    - Higher Passer Rating
    - Higher Completion Percentage

Where on earth are you getting your stats from? None of those are correct, except for less INTs, yet Brady has a lower INT%, which is a much better stat to go by than total INTs.

Obviously you still cannot make a legit argument. You simply don't have proof, nor do you know what you are talking about.

So getting to the SB and losing is somehow worse than getting eliminated in the 1st Round or not even making the playoffs?

    Explain that one to me.....
