NBA players get pissed when they don't get picked for the ASG, NFL players get pissed when they get picked for the pro bowl

    And the crowd sucked ass.
The crowd sucking is just part of the time we live in now. That is never going to change unfortunately because the ASG is event tailored made only for rich people to go to. Those type of fans are just there to be seen and thus you will have ty crowds.

Did anyone else pay attention right after Westbrook hit that last FT with 1.3 seconds left in the game? Pau Gasol took the ball out of bounds and Marc went to defend it even though the West was up 5. Marc then snapped his neck back like Pau elbowed him though it was completely obvious that he was nowhere near elbow range.

Was Marc really trying to flop in the ASG up 5 with 1.3 seconds left? Against his own brother? I sure hope it was a joke but I didn't see either of them laughing right afterward. Wish I had a gif of that.

To be fair, as ty as the NBA ASG is, it's still probably the best ASG of all the major sports..

I don't think anybody has watched the Pro Bowl in years, the MLB ASG is a farce(home field advantage, really?) and the NHL is irrelevant in the US, of course..
The real problem is that all-star games are a relic from the past, back before services like League Pass, Sunday Ticket, Center Ice, and Extra Innings existed and events like these were the only way for stars outside of large markets to get national exposure. Nowadays, we can watch every team play every week, so there's no point in having these ty-ass exhibition games anymore. The only reason they still exist is tradition.

He does that all the ing time in actual games, not a surprise that he was doing it in the All-Star Game too.

yup Shaq has lowered the bar immensely. He just likes to bully Chuck and old fattass can't do about it. It sucks terribly
Ugh, Shaq is "dish it, but can't take it" personified. I'm glad Kirby left his in the dirt and won 5. The guy is so ing insecure and I'd love to see Chuck throw that one in his face.

Meanwhile in 1988. All Star game more physical than your typical NBA game

I felt bad for Shaq in this game. The west big men ganged up on him bad. He had to pay those dues lol.

He can't though. That is a cautionary tale & a consequence of being bereft in ring.
