LMA out for Porty tonight:
Go Warriors and Go Spurs Go. That's it, everyone else.
So in what scenario does LA fall to 5th tonight?
Houston wins, Grizz loss and LA loss?
So if Houston and Memphis both lose we lock up the second seed right? Can memphis SA and Houston tie at 27 loses and the winner get the 2nd seed? Considering La doesn't have the division.

I'm tired of trying to keep track of all these scenarios. I'll probably just check the standings tomorrow night and we'll have all our answers then.
I just love this pic....and I still can't get over someone naming a basketball team the Pelicans.
Clippers get the 2 seed in that scenario. Spurs need to win Wednesday or the Grizz, Clips, and Rockets all have to lose.
Everyone other than the Rockets, Grizzlies, Clippers, and whoever we face.
You want the 2 seed and who gives a where the others place. With HCA, Spurs can beat any team. So the 2 seed gives us a great chance to at least get to the WCF. Then obviously we have to play without HCA, but 2/4 HCA series is better than 0/4 or only 1/4.
Warriors, Blazers, Pelicans I think are most important. Rockets and Nuggets are supposed to win/lose fairly big. Also those latter two games don't affect our destiny as directly. Pelicans win and OKC loses, and I doubt the Brow sees the court Wednesday night which should be an easy win for Spurs. Brow has been carrying NO like no player on the Spurs has had to do. 4 days rest until playoffs is plenty of time for our old farts to be off. We don't need more time than that for them to get out of rhythm. Who knows if Splitter will ever be 100% anyway.
Put another way, if the Spurs win on Wednesday, they will not be a 3 seed with the Clippers the 2 seed. Memphis could be the 2 seed if only a 2-way tie with Spurs knocked down to 5 (with home court).
I can't believe you would respond to someone with the GALL to suggest the Spurs could lose. If we lose we are SCREWED and so no point discussing.
I dont know but Westchump getting bailed by the league was pretty stupid and dirty considering Aldridge wont play for Portland.
clippers probably win out and clinch the 3rd seed. the only problem is they would have home court against us in the 2nd round unless they pulled their annual crap on themselves routine and lose to the griz in the 1st round.
How so? I thought first tiebreaker was division winner.
Aldridge is out against OKC tonight... which means OKC and the Pelicans might both win and stay tied... leading to the Pelicans playing hard on Wed against the Spurs. I know Pop is itching to rest his players, wonder what will happen if the game stays close on Wed.
Edit: Afflalo out too.

Don't think so. If Spurs are 2 and Clips are 3, Spurs have home court I think.
It makes it much more likely Pelicans are playing for their lives Wednesday.
.
not if houston loses the last one also and spurs lose.
All four teams are tied in the loss column atm. If all four lose nothing changes.
not if houston loses twice.
True, though the likelihood of them losing twice is the same as the Grizz losing twice imo.
ing Portland and Aldridge. the NBA too for rescinding Westbrook's technical. He had already been bailed out once and the league bailed him out again, weak.![]()
Looks like Wednesday night will be a dogfight.
What if Pelicans lose and Thunder win tonight? On Wednesday, even if Pelicans wins and Thunder too, they're still out right?
