Timmy can't really guard him. Diaw is the best bet.
Let's not forget davis is not big or strong enough to guard Timmy in the post. I've seen Timmy bury him down there.

I'm at peace with whatever happens tonight. I want the spurs to win but if they lose its not the end of the world.

Can't call Skip a homer... he's dropping some truth bombs. The only thing is that the Pelicans haven't played the "SPAM Spurs" this season, which is why I think the Spurs are going to take care of business tonight.
    I agree for tonight...

I'm more worried about the PO, we won't blow out every team we face.

I'm still not sure who is our go to guy in close game situations, Manu scares me bc of TOs, Tony lost his mid range J and Kawhi is not there yet imo...

We win 99% of the time thx to ball movement, but there will be more iso situation during the PO

    Make Westbrook change hats.
I want Westbrook in the playoffs just to see him cry after being swept by an average of 30+ points by the Warriors.

YEP! There is a reason why only one team at the 6th seed in the history of the game has EVER won a le, it's that hard.
Yup...but that team was the 94-95 Rockets, who were the DEFENDING CHAMPS, who STRUGGLED EARLIER in the season, then pulled it together and DOMINATED DOWN THE STRETCH...and WON IT ALL to claim BACK TO BACK les.

I like the comparison should we get stuck with the 6th seed.

I think we win comfortably tonight, though. Spurs by 11.

Perfect... had tickets to see Vernon Reid from living Color without checking this last game and now I'll miss it

Anyone here is onboard thinking that may be a good humbling experience to lose this game going into the playoffs so that it doesn't happen what did in 2012 when they won 20 in a row counting regular season and 2 first series before being backdoor swept at the WCF?

If we lose, it will be because the Pelicans outplayed us. The division le is on the line...Pop is going all in tonight.

Allen & Conley out tonight. If they lose to Indy, even if we lose & Houston wins, we get HCA in round 1. I guess that's not the worst thing, as long as they lose. But, I'd of course prefer we just go out and Win.

But there's still the matter of second round home court and avoiding golden state. Although people are all over the map with preferences among the 2&5 seeds.

I'd rather have the 5th seed over the 2nd, but eventually you have to play Golden State or the Clippers if you want to get back to the Finals at some point in time. Rather get the Warriors earlier rather than later.

Oh for sure, but if we can't get 2, 5 is the next best thing. Playing GS in the 2nd round may not be the worst thing. They are who they are IMO.
