He missed the 4th quarter and OT and we almost choke the game away.

    Get well soon Parker

Why wouldn't he play? Was it ever in question?

I want Parker to play btw, he's still a useful player, I'm just confused..

He is running out of injury excuses. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a torn rotator cuff next.

I'm pretty sure if a player misses the 4th and OT due to injury it is a question.

    I'm not surprised

He will play but he won't drive and continue to shoot jumpers from the outside and miss unfortunately. I wish he would atleast take it inside a few times and dish or do whatever. His J is horrible right about now.

good news. I think he moved the ball well last night despite shooting horrendously.

He played like a near prime Rondo (offensively) if you ask me

This series is tough for Boris, and missing those layups hasn't helped. I still expect him to step it up in the remaining games.

The key to Parker playing is not just will he make his jumpshots and drive aggressively to the rim, it's will the Clippers leave him open on jumpers and will they have a big switch to cover him when he gets in the lane. So long as the Clippers fear his jumper/penetration, they will defend it in a way that will help the Spurs with their spacing. If they don't, and he can't punish them for ignoring him, then he won't be very effective. Some people here think he's finished, but Coach Rivers is a little smarter than to underestimate a guy that is capable of raising his game, especially at home. As long as Coach Rivers fears Parker's offense, and defends him accordingly, he will be helpful. If not, then he does become more or less COJO minus the defense.

Parker sometimes mopes when he can't make anything happen on offense. He missed shots and then shut down mentally. No defense, no energy. He'll be "injured" until he comes out next game and tries to redeem himself. If he gets his game going, his injury will disappear. If not, he'll remain "injured."

Sit him until he puts forth effort on both ends, regardless if his shots are falling.

The encouraging thing is he's getting open and/or close in shots. Just have to knock them down.

I hope he plays a good game 3, at home, I think he will be fine

game 2 was tough for him but he at least did not force and had the courtesy to sit to let Patty running the stuff... after if really it was because he was bothered by his achilles or not is not very important tbh

main thing is that he did not try to play the warrior and finish with a loss and a 0/15

He didn't try to play beyond his capabilities. The Spurs run into problems when he forces the issue. I can't fault his effort considering his many injuries.

I'm really hoping for a throwback Tony performance where he drops 32 or something and reminds people that he's one of the best point guards in the league, I know he's not anymore but I love when Parker gets media love tbh. Say what you want about him, he's a passionate dude who plays his ass off when he's feeling 100% and makes some cold blooded plays. Gotta love Tony, and I love watching him go off.
