Please retire
I could watch that dunk on 24 hour loop tbh.
Yeah, that was priceless. I think Ray had done something similar to Marco earlier, and it was like Manu avenging his "little brother."
Yep. Payback for this
The whole sequence from Battier fouling him to the 3 pointer following that dunk was all vintage Gino... he had just an amazing game when the team needed it the most...
Because having only Boris as a playmaker off the bench is a good thing???
Damn, I totally forgot about this one:
One of his finer moments, tbh.
^
This is exactly what I would have posted. I must have watched that 15 times right after it happened. Just kept pushing the REW button....
this thread is too sad, like a wake
Thanks mate. What an incredible play.
@ 2004 MI21 for thinking Manu was a bit overrated. Smh.
Anybody knows/noticed that Manu's stance in 2005 is so different? He seems moves wider during 2005, even his body. Maybe because of his hair. What happened why he moves so different again or somehow regressed (based from his 2005 performance) during 2006? Injuries?
Obi-Wan Ginobili made his debut and final appearance in 2005 playoffs.
2nd only to DRobb as my favourite Spur... It was the highlight of my trip to Texas to get his autograph and an opportunity to thank him.
He`d never avoid any kind of physical contact. It had to do it with it.
Don't retire Manu! He is such a huge part of the Spurs culture that he can still provide a lot of value.
Some great Spurs videos posted, I wish youtube had even more and then there is also this historic game winner:
Not Spurs either but I also remember seeing some amazing highlights from his time in Italy where he was basically toying with people.
Yup whenever he was needed he contributed plenty of brilliance. Most notably the Dallas series while against Portland he could take a comfortable backseat.
Damn. I can't even begin to imagine.![]()
I'm torn between the posterizing dunk over the Heat in the Finals 2014 or the roundhouse knockout of el Bat. I am wearing an Argentina soccer shirt today in honor of that man.
