We need that DeAndre Jordan shoe to drop. Hopefully it's with the Mavs. For one, I think it would be exicting, but mainly it will cement RoLo to NY and probably set everything in motion.
Forget Love (high-end role player if you ask me).

Doesn't it dispel all the rumors that he's leaning towards San Antonio, if Pop is looking for a second meeting?
The net effect is that it will remove the amount of FA money available league-wide. Dallas will spend theirs but the Clipps won't have any corresponding bump in funds.![]()
This is all CIA Pop's plan, and Aldridge is in on itI'm sure his decision is coming soon, seeing that David West wants to join the team.
- Make the Suns implode
- Have the Mavs wait for you, while losing on F/A's
- have a story leaked on how Kobe was the reason you lost interest
i hope pop benches him for the first few games for all this gotry![]()
This is unlike any other free agency period I have ever seen. Usually nothing much happens until the 2 or 3 top FAs commit, but this year GMs just started throwing crazy money around from the beginning. Normally you'd see guys like Chandler and Lopez wait to see if the Spurs/Rockets struck out on LMA and then they'd swoop into that spot, but the money is just too good this year to not take the offers from teams like the Suns, Bucks, Knicks, etc.

Sure, I don't disagree with this.
I do. Would you rather have Ramona Shelburne or Erin Andrews? Come on. Easy choice.
When you are selling, you can never rest when you are this close to the close. The compe ion is throwing everything they got because they sense they are losing the deal. You have to stay in front of the prospect and remind them why you are the best choice and why they felt that way in the first place.

The Knicks are finalizing a four-year, $54 million agreement with free agent center Robin Lopez, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.
Not IMO. It only gives credence to the reports that LMA is very wishy-washy and emotional. But Spurs can be in the lead & Pop may very well just want to be near the last to speak with LMA knowing the last impression might be the one that wins. He wants to answer any and all questions LMA has because LMA seems to be a guy that really struggles with stuff like this.
DNP - got
I'm unsure how Jeff McDumbass doesn't understand how this works. Spurs fans don't usually get a shot at THE #1 free agent, so we wait and wait and wait and wait every year for the scraps, while the #1 free agent is gone pretty quickly. Now that we get annoyed at the fact that Lamarcus thinks this is 20 years ago when free agency was a month long, that ing idiot starts tweeting about us because he's salty that we've called him out for being ty at his job all these years.
Yeah, Jeff, I know you're having someone read this to you. off. I hope you sprain your ankle.
Yup - hurts the Clips more than it helps the Mavs (unless both Parsons & Wes come back like gangbusters after their injuries)
After basketball I don't understand why this is a hard choice.
Short of NY/LA, any city he chooses is basically the same for rich people. Do I want to live in a nice house and go to nice restaurants in Houston, San Antonio, or Phoenix? Is there really a significant difference? NBA players are out of state 1/2 the time during the season, and he already has a house he lives in during the offseason.
If true - that should mean DJ has ruled out the Knicks (based on reports). DJ annoucement likely to be today/soon. Things will move after that on LMA - book it.
if aldridge ends up joining i hope pop trolls the out of him by listing him as C while Duncan keeps the PF label
As long as I am pinked, he's not coming here.

Entering Friday, the LaMarcus Aldridge leaderboard is believed to still have spurs up top, with the Suns second - http://azc.cc/1NDDNiQ
Literally all he does is patronize Spurs fans and respond to trolls on twitter.
