True and Alridgde signing will probably open the door for some good vets on a minimum deal that are chasing rings.
    Starting with David West hopefully...

Damn, Marco, Cojo, and Baynes all made a ing killing in free agency!!!
Small Market team with damn near 3 max contracts. TD and Manu will have to take major paycuts too. Will Manu come back for 25 cents on the dollar?

Sure, if you like "Socialism"...go watch the movie "Bullworth". Texas may soon have no federal income taxes, too.
P.S. I'm not taking it personally. What can I say but repeat what Forrest Gump said: "Stupid is...".
I see, you get your politics from movies...

    OMG. Congrats, CoJo

He was pretty damn good in the regular season last year. His growth from a rookie was outstanding. He's a legit NBA player at this point.

I don't think this is a huge loss for the Spurs. Joseph got minutes last year because Parker was injured so much and Mills missed the first half of the season and came back rusty.

If Parker can bounce back and Mills can rebound to his previous level, CoJo would have racked up the DNP-CDs -- and he's too good for that.

Big picture: Aldridge for Splitter, Belinelli, Baynes and Joseph is a no-brainer.
    Absolutely

    And hopefully D-West, too.

Maybe the lure of playing with Kobe will make him sign with the Lakers?

. Well best of luck to CoJo, I wish we could've held onto him instead of overpaying Enrique.
He is not a starting PG in this league IMO, good backup though and now overpaid himself.

Glad to see CoJo got such a nice contract and he'll get tons of minutes there with Lou Williams leaving.

Even if the Spurs could hypothetically match that, there's no way in I would do it. Joseph is a useful player but he's not that great of a fit on the Spurs. With the current offensive system, the PG has to be an offensive threat in order to force the defense to engage. When Joseph was on the court, defenses got away with "playing the play" when he had the ball and sagging off when he didn't.

Joseph is a great energy player who had gotten really good at finishing. But he's never going to be a pure outside shooter and he's sub par as far as playmaking goes.

But congrats to him. Another great selection by the FO in the draft. Well done.

Spurs weren't going to pay those contracts even if Aldridge wasn't coming here since Baynes, Bellineli, and Joseph are being overpaid...

So why is it you're the only one who sounds desperate? And if West decides that ringing is what's most important, this will be one of the best off-seasons ever.

I wonder what the chances are of Kobe learning how to be young and healthy?

The biggest news for lakerfan this summer is that the Spurs 3rd point guard is leaving the team.
