Carrol's is pretty bad, but he has potential to get better. I think that Robin Lopez got paid wayyy too much, but the Knicks had to do something. Someone else would have probably paid him around that amount anyway, unfortunately. Amir Johnson is way overpaid. I like Ed Davis' deal. Monroe at 16 per actually isn't that bad compared to Deandre, Robin Lopez, etc. Deandre Jordan was not worth a 20 mil per anywhere but the clips. The mavs are stupid if they think he can be "the man." He isn't going to magically develop an offensive game. Tyson's would have been fine if it was a 2 year deal. I don't know how productive he will be in 3 years since he relies on athleticism a lot. Rondo's deal is fine since it's 1 year. Who knows, maybe he reverts back to old form with 2 new stars around him. I'm honestly not sure which is the most outrageous. There have been a lot of terrible deals handed to players this offseason.

I can't believe that. They knew they stood no chance at LMA, 21. None.

    But, you're right,,,regardless...they "won't want him within a year."

Forgot about that one as well. Terrible. Similar player in Isaiah Thomas gets 4/27. LOL. I remember people though Boston was stupid for getting him because he was overpaid. He may not be great, but is undoubtedly worth it at that price.

Rondo deal is only bad because they gave up two firsts (Stauskas and a future one) plus two potential first round pick swaps in order to get the cap space to sign him and Marco.

Three Spurs guys getting MLE-plus money (Marco, CoJo and Baynes) is pretty darn impressive too when you consider that Splitter is only making a little more than each of them.
