Correct - but functionally he really only costs 400K roughly (900K salary - less 500K roster charge = 400K)
I was at the game in Sac where the Spurs couldn't stop him. In any case, seems like at least as good an option as any of the PGs on the scrap heap.

Chairman Holt, GM RC and SuperCoach Gandalf the Whitebeard must have been so dismayed that we were.....unceremoniously eliminated by the Clips last season
now, we are ing the NBA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i like it!!!!!!!!!!!!
, this is unreal, this is not happening!!!!!!
His shooting will improve, wonder who will ball handle when he gets some burn.
bad news for Cherry, Wolters, and Dai. Bertans
two more, big and wing, and its sauron-slaying time
WE ARE THE REAL LORD OF THE RINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
( gs and lebron)
not bad. can't be any worse than de colo....
It's the ing Kings throw this scoring margin bull out the window. The Kings are always getting their asses kicked.
The dude has played 113 NBA games in two years, meaning at least he's an NBA-caliber player so the odds of busting out with SA are pretty low. Even for a minute-eater contract, he looks pretty decent, and he might even be better than that.
Is he eligible for the SL team? If I were him I'd be on a plane to Utah.
Another chucker ball-hog PG?
Spurs should still have room to take back Bazemore in the ATL deal which seems pretty damn appealing right now.
McCallum and Tavares should be a nice pick and roll combination.
mabuhay po!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
jejejejeje
Damn that could be a very athletic 2nd 3rd unit
Vegas maybe since Wolters is out, but I wouldn't count on it.
Ray hasn't been consistently good - but he's shown improvements in the first two years with some really good moments. But ya, he looks like anNBA player.
Love it! Excellent deal for the Spurs on the surface. Hopefully, he's a well-rounded individual and doesn't mind picking up his man (in the 40-defense) with full-court pressure.
People still find things to complain about.
Never change, ST.
Cam we actually do that? Last I checked it was for a foreigm overseas player? Wow if we get Bazemore, 6'4 7ft wingspan wo delivered when his nimber got called last playoffs then Im going to be the happiest er in town.
(thinking of a nice monicker for the Ray gun, hehehehe)
I don't think it's likely - but it's definitely possible & not unreasonable at all.
So, making this deal at midnight, do you think the Spurs are trying to work some more magic? Or just trying to configure the contracts they already have?
Just call him Ray Gun. He even kind of looks like that dude from Red Tails
