    On a surface level, I respect the league for scheduling the games that are getting them the best ratings. This isn't an indictment of the Spurs. This is a commentary on the average dumbass NBA fan, tbh.

    NBA should have put the Spurs @ Blazers and Clippers @ Mavericks on Christmas instead of bundling those 2 "popcorn games" on a random Wednesday night in November. I have mainframe 2 class that wednesday evening from 5-6:20, but I might leave class early just to watch deandre get introduced (I go to UNT with 80% Mavs fans)

    I already said in another thread that Clips@Mavs should've been Opening Night or Christmas Day. But my point is that if the Spurs don't have the mass appeal to be playing in one of the two ABC slots, then that's how it goes. The kids want their celebrity players; not great teams.

    If Kobe is playing I view the Lakers as a live traveling comedy sitcom. I think the NBA is banking on the viewership of the hardcore Kobe fans along with Kobe haters to get ratings.
