I think either Mallet or Savage will be the guy long term.
I think it's going to be Savage. Mallett should be kicking Hoyer's ass right now but he seems to be ting the bed. Savage has looked as good as either one of them and he's only been in the league one season. I think Mallett is gone next year, Hoyer becomes the backup and Savage is the starter.

Interesting thing I noticed about the QB's(my cousin mentioned this last week but I just really picked up on it today)...Hoyer seems to act like he wants to be the QB more than Mallett. The team responds better to him in huddles too. Mallett seems to have a very en led way about him...like he already has the job locked up. Hoyer's almost the polar opposite, at times acting like he's an unguaranteed player that's just excited to be there being given a chance.
I noticed that last night during Hard Knocks, but I wasn't sure if that was just made-for-tv drama or not.

Hoyer lost confidence because of Johnny Manziel. That alone makes me not want him as the starter

Mallett has the talent to take this job from Hoyer pretty easily. He just needs to quit ing around and do it. Will be interesting to see him running with the 1's this week. He needs put on a convincing show.

Not sure how I feel about either one of these two gots now. I don't trust Hoyer and Mallett doesn't seem to be stepping and and taking the opportunity that's being give to him. ing .

Starting to feel like the defense is going to have to stay healthy and seriously some up for this team to make the playoffs.

You're basing this on a reality show with 60 potential characters edited down to an hour? Ever consider that that's just his personality? They all showed up for the game and all the footage during the episodes of them have been good highlights

Hey now...I'm a Texans fan. It's my job to melt down at the first glimpse trouble.

Anyway...those who saw the practice the other day seem to think Mallett has started to flip the switch. Denver has a good defense, so he can do a lot to sew the job up with a solid performance this week.

i've really seen it as him not wanting to do good anymore, just so he can prove a point, that is that that manziel was 2000 times worse than him,

Mullet mad he's not starting and yet he couldn't beat out a career loser for the starting spot on a team who's offense will be mediocre at best

Does EZ make the team? He's been entertaining on Hard Knocks... and I loved him back in his A&M days. Hope he sticks.

Lol well considering Khari Lee was traded I don't think they have issues with getting rid of entertainers

lol, I wasn't implying he should make the team because he's entertaining. It was just an observation from the show.
