Having Tony on the floor alone helps Kawhi, and other teammates. I don't think that is disputable. The team has to game plan for Tony despite how bad he's looked. When Tony is off the floor and someone who literally can't create for others like Mills or Joseph is in the game, the team focuses on Kawhi. MacCullum will be a great addition due to that, and I really think he can take over the backup role over Mills if Mills starts slow again.

    Anyways..

Tony can still go off for big games. It's really not that big of a deal. His decline looks just like Manu's. Injuries plauged him and he literally declined out of nowhere. Doesn't mean he still can't be effective - like Manu. He is our best playmaker outside of Manu, including Diaw. He just needs to get certain things like his floaters back. It's clear he misses those due to lack of confidence.

I don't think it's out of the realm to think Parker can score 17 ppg this year, though I'd expect 13-15. He's fortunate we picked up Aldridge, though, or his decline would be more noticeable like Deron Williams.

...meanwhile Rique was busy starting off the game like 0 for 11.
    This.

Also, lulz at your signature... Guy carries his team for the first down inside the red zone, team comes away with ZERO points on the drive.

The numbers are clear. Kiwi needs Parker to be worth a damn. Without MVParker holding Kiwi's hand, he turns into a scrub. This is what all you kiwi s wishing for him to break a leg need to get a grip on.

Kawhi with Patty on the court and no MVParker:

    25.9% usage, 47.8 effective field goal%, 30.4% from three

Kawhi with Cojo on the court and no MVParker:

    28% usage, 49.4 effective field goal%, 16% from three ( holy dog that's awful)

Kawhi with MVParker and no patty or cojo:

    22% suage, 53.7 effective field goal%, 38.5% from three

Dumb ass, Patty was horrific in the regular season after he came back from injury.

Aside from multiple ankle injuries, Deron Williams issue was being obese & lacking confidence along w/ not giving a . Porker on the other hand has completely broken down physically ala Manu.

He always complained about playing center & was forced to play center when Bynum was injured in 2008 which is when Pau got punked by Perkins/KG. Bynum was the starting center for the '09/'10 championship teams but Pau had to play center in 2010-11 when Bynum was out of the line up which wore him out as he already had been running on fumes after 3 straight finals appearances.
He did (up until Howard arrived; then he essentially admitted he was one, by saying he was out of his comfort zone), but that doesn't mean he wasn't one, nor does the fact that he lacks base strength and can be overpowered.

I've never understand how so many can think Duncan is a center but not Gasol, when they're similar in so many ways.

NO! Pau wanted to play as a center on OFFENSE but he didn't want any of the pounding on the other end. He wanted to have his cake & eat it too. He didn't like playing w/ Dwight b/c the paint was always occupied but then D'Antoni wanted him to play center (as a stretch center) after Dwight left which is why they were beefing b/c Pau couldn't play in the paint & had to bang bodies on the other end. Tim on the other hand has never complained about banging bodies even when Cousins was trying to bully him.

Went for it on 4th and goal at the 2 yd line and didn't convert. Don't mind the call, gotta take chances to get upsets. Hung with Arizona for 4 Qtrs and KState for 3 Qtrs, not bad for a 5 year old program with a new roster full of underclassmen.

I know what he wanted, but that's irrelevant. There's not one kind of body type for a center; it's based on style of play.

I've never heard of a 7-0+, premier low post scoring, above average shot blocking/defensive rebounding, power forward.

Big Dummy, my ORIGINAL point was that he was worn out pre-Dwight b/c he had to guard the biggest guy on the court whenever Bynum was on vacation since Odumb wasn't up to the task. They wouldn't have beaten the Magic/Celtics w/o Bynum whether Pau was playing point guard or center.

Your ORIGINAL point was wrong, re . He was worn out because he played too many games in too short a time and it inevitably caught up to him, like it does everyone.

FOH, he was absolutely terrible in 2011 against the Mavs & in 2012 against OKC meanwhile Odum was the 6th man of the year & Kobe was playing well on a bad knee during that span. Quit debating w/ your emotions & go cry on your mom's lap you fat little . Ain't nobody got time for your temper tantrums.

He played almost every summer with Spain; plus, everyone is built differently. Look at the Spurs. Parker and Ginobili were clearly on fumes last season, but Duncan was still going strong.

You still haven't given a single credible reason as to why he's supposedly a power forward and not a center, you dumb .

30 to 3..... on UTSA's home field? That's a behind-the-woodshed stoning if there ever was one.

Beating the Wildcats would have been incredible, however.

I guess my animosity towards UTSA comes from them denying my mom nearly 2 years worth of credits that she earned at SAC from 1978-1981. The only school in town that accepted them (well about half of them) was TAMSA on the south side back when it was ghetto TAMUK-SA and consisted of 8 portables for classroom buildings. The only courses they offered were in psychology and criminology/criminal justice. My mom ended up with a "Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences" degree in may 2006, one class shy of a psychology degree. Had she been allowed to transfer her credits to UTSA, however, she would have graduated earlier and been able to teach an extra year -- meaning an extra ~$40k after taxes and the NISD security blanket, rather than an extra few thousand in tuition expenses and having to start off at ghetto SSAISD and ending up in Edgewood 7 years later, where the principal just so happened to be a power trippy female that wrote bad notes on her record -- now NISD won't give her a job -- long story short, my mom is now on her 2nd straight year of unemployment, and I have to pay my own rent and my mom had to cut into her life savings and didn't give me the $30k when I became an adult that she promised me growing up.

    UTSA, tbh

    UTSA, tbh
That's why I said 3 Qtrs, the score was only 13-3 going into the 4th. Although if I'm being honest KState was in the redzone and scored on the first play of the 4th Qtr. Still they've held their own against two solid P5 teams so I think we'll be allright in conference play...UNT needs to get ready for their annual whipping imo.

Sucks but tbf Mrs. UNT Eagles 2016 just wasn't on top of her . You don't take classes and just assume they'll be transferred over. She ed up by not checking with UTSA beforehand. My girl is in the graduate counseling program and from what she tells me the chair of the department is also the chair of some big national counseling association, so I'm pretty sure both the counseling and psych programs are pretty legit. Good programs probably have higher standards for their curriculum than what SAC offers tbh.

College is an enormous scam tbh, if state standards were re-raised such that students took more advanced courses in middle and high school (and forced to pass them without a million safety nets for late and missing work, etc under pain of having to retake the classes until they passed) instead of rehashing everything they did in elementary, college would be an unnecessary waste of valuable young years. Unfortunately, it's a money pit perpetuated by a bunch of elitist tenured hypocritical white liberals.
