This track should prepare a high school graduate to go DIRECTLY into medical school with no formal undergraduate college schooling.
Too bad it won't work when you have 22 year olds recruited by Teach for America are teaching those classes when they are in it for the loan forgiveness & ing high school seniors. If Amerikkka is serious about this matter they have to require a masters to teach pre-med classes & provide incentives so being a public high school science teacher could be considered a decent career. Maybe it might just be easier to require high school juniors/seniors to take courses at community colleges.

    Honestly:
    A.) It'll be EVERYONE's nightmare.
B.) Ain't no need to wish for it, might have already happened. He had a lousy last season and despite praying weight loss and recovery time might help him, he looked terrible against the lesser Euro compe ion.

I mean, being a Spurs fan, I'm still going to hope and wait until the season and just hope he can get back into form...but the precedents for a 33 year old PG coming off repeated injury woes who relied on speed with deep playoff runs and international play...it isn't great...

RIP TP vvvvv You weren't ever my favorite or second favorite Spur, but I always loved watching you play.

No rebuttal using stats yet, just more b-b-but DPOY kawhi awesome

Why can't any MVParker hater explain why Kawhi is so dependent on TP to do well? Why does he put up scrub numbers when TP isn't on the court?

Kawhi got paid. We'll see how he responds in the "year after".

2007 Tony isn't walking through that door. That's for sure, so hypotheticals aren't needed here. He's going to the bed.

Tim has created this false impression amongst Spurs fans that any TOSB player can rejuvenate. That's simply not true. Tim is a once in a generation player, Tony isn't. Tony isn't even as good as Manu, not even close. Tony had speed, a decent outside touch and the uncanny ability to find the rim and finish. He never was a good passer. He never had a high basketball IQ. Manu is off the charts, even if he does overestimate his own abilities sometimes. Neither of these two should ever be mentioned in the same sentence with Tim Duncan where longevity is concerned. Manu is a walking injury, and Tony has hidden in the abundance of mid to upper level talent the Spurs have trained or signed over the past however many years. Tony hasn't been "good" for quite some time. Manu has been amazing. Tim is otherworldly just because of his age and the fact the NBA is severely lacking talented big men. When Howard and Gobert are your "talent", you're not talented.

If you do that, you have to give them the option of only taking morning OR afternoon classes (4 classes per day) at the high school campus. You can't expect a kid to go to school all day and then at night, too.

To your first argument -- I say either require a master's degree OR 10 years of teaching experience at the high-school level in science/math -- not necessarily both. And yes, pay them an extra $10k per year, it's a cheaper and better use of our tax dollars than the TEXAS Grant system ($5,000 per year for every college student with a combined family income under $60k, that adds up to over a half billion dollars per year).

It would be nice if Kawhi wasn't so dependent on MVPaker to play above average. He won't always have him around ya know, tbh

If Parker's skills really are in permanent and significant decline, then no true Spursfan would be happy. Those skills will be difficult to replace and their absence greatly diminishes our chances at a ring next season. Those on this site who are relishing in Tony's recent struggles are likely fans of other teams masquerading as Spurs fans.

    You might read this: http://www.poundingtherock.com/2014/...of-tony-parker

This appreciation is a year old, so of course it doesn't take into account last season's performance, but its a fairly balanced view of the legacy of TP.

That's why Pop and RC went all out to recruit a real Alpha who can get his own shot

Kawhi has to understand that Parker has a kid now, there's not enough of Tony to spoon feed two people
