Strawman or truth? It's easy to put someone down that doesn't agree with you. It's harder to just accept that someone is different. I am friends with both religious people and with "non-believers" who are intelligent enough to know that not everyone is going to think the same way. It's only small minded idiots that foam at the mouth every time someone disagrees with them.

You were taught to hate and have obviously been through some tough experiences that have caused you to view things in a negative perspective. My only hope is that one day you will find peace. IMO the vast majority of christians have not spent any serious time reading or studying the bible. And the church just ing loves it like that. If every christian could comprehend what they are "reading" , they would not need a priest, pastor, preacher, missionary to "interpret" that FOR you. Regular redneck and bumpkin mexicans mostly cannot comprehend what they read as all that really Matters is what is "comforting"
