I actually Pop just didn't want to play danny, Kawhi, TD anymore extended minutes...they really don't need it at this point![]()

That play bothered me a little, too. But it is pre-season, so I give him the benefit of the doubt. If it had been a meaningful point in a meaningful game, I hope he would take on Brewer. Not that he's going to block the shot, but make him earn the points at the line.
That was in 2010-11, meanwhile Ray ended last season as starter putting up better number than Tony.
He made a nice open-court steal, reaching down to stop a bounce pass. The guy's only going to get better and better at maximizing his length. It is impressive.
Nah
Costing on offense or he's relegated to the corner 3's as his role on the team now.-Kawhi was coasting on both ends of the floor
Yea, really no reason to keep Reggie Williams imo, especially over Ray. Like Storm said he is no more than a very end of the bench player and has proven that. Ray Mac on the other hand has alot of upside and is good insurance at a position where we have an injury prone starter on the downside of his career. Neither of them are going to get a whole lot of PT this year, so makes more sense to keep the guy who can be part of the Spurs future.
Yeah, I admitted it was a reach. Just in a Spurs uniform neither one has set himself above the other, so it is practically a toss-up. We need Ray to grow into Cojo's old role, which he hasn't shown he can do. I like Patty coming off the bench, so we really need a player who can make some spot starts (at the least) for Tony.
No way a player as dynamic as Kawhi is relegated to that role.
So far in a few preseason games, Patty has worked better with the starters, and Ray with the bench. May be that Ray has much better chemistry with Anderson though.
Last game he tried to do too much, and he didn't have a good game. I think he just let the game come to him this time. Everyone was playing well and hitting shots so he didn't have to do too much. It was a good game from everyone TBH.
Just tweeted. Williams got waived!
Haha...well let me tell ya, that f*cker is big!!
Dang, looks like the return of the LDN
Well congrats to Simms and Butler!!!
Sorry for Reggie, wish him the best though.
Game replay on NBATV in 15 minutes
What the you talking about? When Danny is in his hot Dr. Jekyll side, he's HOT. He'll end you. He has one of the best contested FG% in the league.
is every game on nbatv blacked out of league pass?
He also got Harden on an isolation near the end of the third quarter. Harden went side to side ( he's quick) and Kyle didn't bite. Harden made the shot, but there's not a half a dozen guys in the league who could have defended Harden any better on that play.
Yeah, but still. I'll take any chance tomavs. And it's just funny that they're the only team without a win, and they lost tonight on a last-second shot. With the last preseason game in particular, teams are actually playing their starters and trying to win. You want to go into the season on a positive note.
Ray can already shoot as well as CoJo & doesn't hesitate on offense. He has the same scorers mentality as Patty, he's just not as good a shooter. Defensively CoJo was a beast & that's not Ray's forte...maybe Simmons could figure it out & find a niche as a backup perimeter defender.
When it will be all said and done, Anderson will be a better player than Kawhi, TBH.
Kawhi is a better fit next to the Big 3, but Kyle will be better once they are done.
