I used to not like the guy.
But considering how hard he worked last season without Durant, I think he deserves some praise.
About his fashion, it's a bit weird, however, kudos for him for having the guts to stick with his own style.
why do you think he is cool?
are you gay?
do you think he is funny?
do you think he has brains?
do you like his sisters?

I have come to appreciate him too. He's about as alpha as you can get in basketball. Always plays with effort and to win. He has no coast-through-the-season state. Has improved his decision making a whole lot. He's one of those guys I will miss in basketball when his athleticism declines. Have to enjoy watching him play while he's going all out like he was last year. I wish him and Durant to be healthy this year. It's really a shame when the best players in the league get injured. It makes for a less fun product, when games are really no contest. I would have loved to have seen a fully healthy Cavs vs GSW last finals. As it was, the outcome was decided unless GSW choked. I wish all these playoff teams to be healthy this year. It will be epic.

He's just too good, tbh..unstoppable..
A far superior player to Durant, at this point, too..
With Billy actually resting him now, he's gonna be scary... wouldn't doubt if he ends up being the league top scorer this season...
Dam. My takes sometimes.![]()
wow 8 straight post meltdown
Just bumping my old for giggles.
Should bump your ty takes tbh.![]()
Dabom try mutlti quoting, that little quote plus sign
premature ejac reaction
Westbrook when dialed and focused is easy top 3-5 of the league... he has yet to prove he is capable to keep his cool over a season
Untill now when you play OKC you still have hope dude will lose his cool, start chucking 10 bad shots in a row, forget his teammate and lose the game for his team.
If his coach can control him and help keep his cool during a PO run, OKC will ring... So far it has not been the case, compared to his potential he is a significant underachiever... Thread would call him a loser.
^ just to make sure there is no misunderstanding I'm not saying he is loser but for me he is a clear underachiever...
Good take. He is an absolutely prodigious talent. Up there with LeBron IMHO. If under reasonable control OKC is tough to beat. That's why I was actually modestly pleased with the game on Wed. Westbrook played to his potential and a Spurs team on the road not quite in sync almost won.
In terms of talent and physical tools I fully agree, the closest thing is Lebron tbh... but when Lebron took ty teams to finals and won 2 rings with a good roster, Westbrook went to one final.
Of course it is much easier to make the finals in the east but point remains lebron is a clear example of maximizing his talent while Westbrook has a clear tendency to waste it by being a bonehead when it matters the most.
Sun shines on a dogs ass from time to time, broken clock being right twice a day, etc, tbh.........
Just watch the highlight video of Westbrooks game against the Spurs. A few observations from the video. 1. The spurs were terrible at defending picks. Once OKC set a pick Westbrook was able to easily drive to the basket. The Spurs help defense has to be a lot better. 2. Danny Green got lazy a few times and allowed Westbrook to easily drive by him. 3. Westbrook hit a good amount of contested jumpshots. 4. Westbrook scored on every defender the spurs threw on him Ginobili,Green,Mills,Parker. 5. As much as people hate Parker his defense wasn't bad he did a decent job guarding Westbrook.
