If only you could somehow get word to him. It could be the difference in this season. I know he'd listen to you, if you could just get him to notice you.
Yeah, when those start falling, they'll be blowing teams out.

The Green hate is always dumb. Stupid fans that expect Green to come in every year suddenly being a good scorer.![]()
These are the moments we miss Beli.
And just once again, what is the point of the red ing rocket at this point?
Danny went 0-2 from the 3P line tonight. Last season, Beli went 0-2 or worse 15 times, and 18 times the previous season. Do you miss those nights, too?
Belinelli leaves, and people act like he never missed a 3P shot.
People forget what a horrible defender Beli was. Not quite as bad as Gary Neal, but almost.
No ones acting like this tbh
Beli was a great option to throw in the game and see how he's firing, could hit a clutch 3 tbh
Of course he was. Danny goes 0-2, and he's talking about how we miss Beli on nights like this. Why? Because Beli never went 0-2?
Yeah Beli hit some clutch 3's. He had nights from the arc about a third of the time, but if you just block those out of your memory, Danny's night was unforgivable.
.
One look at their on/off court numbers from the past two seasons will quickly disprove this.
While Danny is on his cold streak, a player like Marco could potentially be helpful, we've seen it happen in the past
Cheers
Offense hasn't been an issue for the Spurs in 5+ years, even moreso now with the growth of Kawhi and the addition of LMA.
The 3s are nice, and I'm confident they'll eventually start falling, but LDN's biggest contribution to the Spurs is on the defensive end. So even when his shot isn't falling he's extremely valuable. Most elite teams have two perimeter threats...having Kawhi+Danny check them is invaluable.
The loss of Belinelli has become so overrated on here. For sure, they miss his 3 point shooting, but some are acting like he was irreplaceable.
Is danny green in a slump or is the spurs offense just not creating consistent open looks for 3 pt shooters? Patty mills also hasnt been getting a lot of open looks so far this year
Death, taxes, Duncan, and Danny Green shooting 40% from 3 are about the only guarantees in life. Anyone questioning his shooting is a moran.
stick to calling people Kent and being banned from upstairs. Your basketball takes suck.
Also: LMAO Aussie being New Zealand's rugby !
he's getting shots, just not making them. For sure he didn't launch 8 this game, but the ones he took were not forced, they were good shots. he's just in a slump.
Like so many have said he's icy/hot and right now he's icy.
Stop it. Stick to hating on Rique, you're more likable that way.
Im not saying he is not invaluable but he is a 6´6¨ guy who cant even make a layup playing for a winning team, even scrubs can make those easy shots for other teams, at this point he should be playing full of confidence.
Danny is just in a slump. He missed a couple of wide open looks tonight. Always a streaky shooter, he will come around, and the offense will get him good looks.
They've only played 4 games, and Danny shot 2-5 (.400) in one of those. I think 3 games is a little light to declare a slump. I'm not sure that's even a mini-slump. Don't get caught up with the bobbleheads who want to analyze on a shot-by-shot basis, and worrying about Kawhi's AST/TO ratio.
He wouldn't be here if he didn't have those limitations. Give Danny handles and the ability to finish at the rim and he's a max player that never ends up in SA.
I love Verde's help & team defense especially tonight, opponent bigs are worry in backing down our bigs when Danny's around disrupting their dribble, and when our bigs got beat DG suddenly arrived at the scene and interrupt the easy lay ups or dunks that should have happened.
So far he's shooting .500 on his 2P shots, and making layups when he gets the chance. What games are you watching?
Nobody questions his defense, but missing those open 3's doesn't help for #6. He'll be ready come playoffs.
He's only been getting about 2 open 3s per game IMO, but he's missing them..the offense is still pretty disorganized, so far, they're winning strictly on top-heavy talent..it's pretty clunky, so far..
The lack of shooting hurts, though, especially when Green is missing..without Beli, the Spurs always need one of Green or Mills to get hot to blow a game wide open..
As we have seen for years, Green's shooting is generally the biggest difference in a 7-point win vs. a 17-point win..
