Verde is a streaky 3 point shooter. He has been a spur long enough for fans to know this. When he heats up again it will seem like he can't miss.
What I hate the most about Danny is him being a player that lacks the most mean streak, maybe in the history of the game...

It one thing when he's missing shots, it's another when he's turning the ball over. He's averaging more turnovers than assists, steals or 3 pointers made.
Which is probably a chemistry thing. Danny is a smart kid who over thinks. He'll get it
It doesn't change the FACT that he has been putrid to start the season.
His defense hasn't exactly been that good either. I mean he's gotten benched for Anderson. (Knicks game 1st Q) He's been pretty bad this early in the season.
He was terrible early last season so this is nothing new. Typical feast or famine Danny.
And SA didn't win until 2 of those 3s minutes got limited Spurs won.You also wanted to bench Kawhi, Green and Splitter in the 2014 playoffs..you literally repeated it the entire playoff run..

Garbage. I don't care how good his defense is, you're going to be a detriment if you go 0-8, even if you do hold your assignment to 35%-40% shooting. If Danny could just give us a consistent 7-9 points, it'd be a big boon, but his scrub ass is too ty to do even that lately.

I've been backing Danny all season, saying that he'll come through eventually, telling people to be patient, etc. But we're a month away from the playoffs and he looks worse than ever. Sucks tbh. Him offering nothing offensively be our eventual downfall imo.

Trevor Ariza in 2009 is the precedent, tbh..best-case scenario for the Spurs..
I can't believe some of you still can't see how valuable his defense is. Yeah his shooting sucks but having two great defenders to throw at Russ/KD, LBJ/Irving, and Curry/Klay easily overrides that. Spurs won with defense today and LDN played a huge role in that tbh.
