FG percentage can't match effective FG percentage. The Warriors launching lower percentage 3 point attempts will always trump Spurs making higher percentage mid-range jumpers.

The current Spurs scheme works only for the current bad crop of teams they are playing, and isn't going to translate to challenge the Warriors.

I had hoped that Spurs had gone for D. Green vs Aldrige. He would have been cheaper and it would havne taken one weapon away from the Warriors.

Aldridge is good, but doesn't seem to be explosive and dominant enough to change a game.
Aldridge will take Green into the post and abuse him. The Spurs are made to match up with the Warriors. Your take ignores the stifling defense the Spurs are playing in stretches and the 2nd highest margin of victory in the league. The Warriors will not get much better than they are right now. The Spurs, on the other hand, most likely will improve as the new pieces acclimate. The current team will definitely get better offensively and they are already shooting a great percentage. The Warriors will likely deal with at least one significant injury at some point this season. No matter how good a 3 point percentage the Dubs are shooting there will be a cold spot. I really like the chances for the Spurs in a series with GS. Must see TV!

Used to, this team's offense went as far as Parker took them. Now the defense does too. MVP.
