No, it isn't. Chemistry, experience or seniority isn't required to have common sense. And for a player who's been in the organization for almost a year and a half, there's no excuse for him not to know the sets.
With the emphasis on accommodating LMA and also giving more offensive responsibility to Kawhi, we have a lot of new sets. Judging by the continuing issues we are having with poor spacing, I think a lot of our players are uncertain about our sets - not just Kyle. Our guys are all struggling with the adjustments, some more than others. But every game seems to show some improvement.

I'm not the one who threw a fit because someone correctly pointed out that Anderson took a brainless shot at a critical time.

Not being able to be unbiased about a player over some high school crush bull .

Thinking it makes me a pessimist or that I hate a player or team for being critical of them.

Just another overly sensitive member of this board; what else is new?

OP never fails to fail. Spurs struggle against the worst team in the league without OP's 2 most hated players. Creates a thread, gonna get shat on per par.

Did you notice the giant smile on his face and how much fun he was having? Or how about the effort he gave allnight. You ers always have something to about.
Yeah! I haven't in any game before now. I think he is beginning to feel more comfortable. A lot of commentators here seem to want us to just run post-ups for LMA. I hope we find other ways to involve him that don't disrupt the flow of our offense. Besides he is averaging almost 3 offensive boards a game, many resulting in his own put-backs, no doubt. So I hope he remains hungry enough to keep that up.

Tim Duncan blocked five shots in the team’s 92-83 win over the Philadelphia 76ers to become the franchise’s all-time leader in blocked shots. LaMarcus Aldridge cracked a couple jokes about Duncan: “I told him: ‘I only saw two.’ So I think he got some home cooking tonight because I only saw two blocks. I think the other three I had, and they gave it to him. So watch that film for sure.”

I like the way LMA is fitting in with the Spurs straight faced but wise cracking at ude also. He is fitting in very well both on and off the court by the looks of it.

With how deep we are with all the post players, this team is better suited to play the Triangle Offense instead. Multiple actions out of the post is something we need to maximize LMA and Kawhi's post game.

LMA and the whole team are probably better off because Pop HASN't run a dozen post-ups per game for the guy, molly-coddling him in his new home. "Go out and play, Big Guy; Show me what you got" - is a pretty good way to acclimate him to the "No Diva Zone" that is the San Antonio Spurs. Honestly, Pop probably infuriates more of us than will admit it from time to time, but there IS a method to his mad science.

Ya don't know what ya gotta change until you see what he does.

As for the 'diva' thing, every single player in the NBA is a diva. They are all alphas. They have been the basketball elite since jr high school, if not grade school. Anybody who's surprised to find a diva in the NBA is just naive.

7/10 in the first half? Pick a seat on the bench in the second half, no one takes the credit away from my system -

Couldn't justify keeping him out there with his poor defense tonight. We couldn't run both Tim and LMA with how small Boston went...

Wasn't worse than Tim's P&R defense tbh... Although Timmy did make huge plays with his passes there at the end.

I don't know if Lamarcus has had a 20fga game this season, but if he couldn't get one after such a hot start today, don't think he will at all this season. Only coach that would prefer the Danny dribble dribble dribble over a LMA ISO

he wasnt involved when the spurs had the lead in the 4th quarter and was too passive, and ofc crunch time its a combination of pop not trusting aldridge with the plays and boston playing small

Poopovich treated LMAlpha like Tiago tonight. this senile got and those cucks on the bench who don't question him. Green and Duncan pick and rolls in the 4th, Hack-a-Scrub backfiring per par, playing Parker and Manu huge minutes

The guy should be placed in the trading block. He just doesn't have the skills to really create any offense by himself.

How many times did Poop call plays for him in the 4th? You want him to tell Poop to himself and call his own number?

    Dat late play tho
