Funny how Davis was supposed to be right there for MVP but he's barely top 10. Lowry must be close.

For this season alone AND so far, Davis doesn't deserve to be in that conversation.

Davis isn't a 100% & has been playing hurt for the majority of the season, not to mention that their whole squad is decimated w/ injuries. Funny how he has beaten both Lebron/Kawhi this season.

Davis left Sunday's game after the first quarter and received two IVs as he battled through an illness, but returned in the fourth quarter and finished with 27 points (9-13 FG, 9-9 FT), six rebounds and four blocks in just 20 minutes during a win over the Nuggets.

Spin: To say that Davis was instrumental in beating Denver would be an understatement. He scored a career-high 19 points in the first quarter to propel the Pelicans to a five-point lead, saw the Nuggets roar ahead with a 43-point second quarter while he was in the locker room getting treatment, then came back onto the court and blocked two shots in the final minute of play to help preserve the win.

Still not top 10 though. Not the top 10's fault he's had to deal with the he has right now

I was glad to see Kawhi go hard at PG from the tip off. Means he took the challenge head on. Too many times these days you see guys half ass it on D because the don't want to be embarrassed, then try to step it up in the final 3-4 minutes of the game.

    It
was a great match up to see. Reminded me of when Duncan and KG used to go at it in the regular season.

It's good of PG to bounce back after that horrific injury, but Kawhi passed him as a player once the injury happened.
Agreed mate. I thought PG was done after he snapped his leg in half and that he'd be the next Grant Hill or something. It's great for the NBA that he is back and playing better than ever. LBJ is still the best but is wearing down, Durant has peaked then it'll be Kawhi and PG's world at SF

There are people here that thought Jimmy Cancer was better than Kawhi, too..
Jimmy Cancer would be Butler? I remeber clowning him not too long ago and you coming to his defense. What made you change your tune about him so quickly son? The comments about Hoiberg?

I still like his game, but the reports are flooding about him being a diva/cancer, tbh..

I believe he's being sabotaged by the Chicago media and fans as a scapegoat, just like Thibs was, though..anything to protect their beloved Derrick Rose, despite Rose being arguably the worst starting PG in the NBA, right now..

I like his game too, tbh. He's just not the player the media wants us to believe he can be. He could be a good 3rd or 4th player on a contender but he's no franchise player.

I'll give pg the benefit of the doubt and say it was mostly an off night for him. This whole pg vs kl debate didn't start with pg saying he was better then kawhi or anything disrespectful about him.
It started with kd and a fan on social media.
But kawhi still has to take these things personal and has something to prove, considering he was being the one getting the most disrespect from fans who thought it was a complete joke to even mention his name in the same breathe as pg. I'm glad he took it to kd too.

    Saltyrant 6/19, 22pts
    Kawhi 13/22, 32pts

    JJohnson 1/7, 2pts
    Kawhi 6/16, 16pts

    Melo 4/17, 19pts
    Kawhi 8/16, 18pts

    RGay 5/15, 10pts
    Kawhi 10/13, 24pts

    JButler 5/9, 14pts
    Kawhi 9/21, 25pts

    Gallinari 2/9, 9pts
    Kawhi 8/16, 20pts

    Gallinari 5/15, 16pts
    Kawhi 11/18, 25pts

    Antetokoumpo 2/8, 7pts
    Kawhi 3/12, 13pts

    BHayward 1/5, 2pts
    Kawhi 7/10, 22pts

    Crying George 1/14, 7pts
    Kawhi 10/19, 24pts

Its worth noticing that Jimmy Cancer made some stat padding playing against scrubs in their matchup. Same with Gallinari in that 2nd game.

In that case, you must have not seen Harden play without Howard this season nor Paul George the past 2 wks or so. Didn't PG just about not being a 100% for his struggles? Meanwhile Anthony Davis is putting up 23/10/3 while shooting 48% while not being a 100% for the majority of the season. Muphuckas acting like he's turned into Dwight Howard or some shyt, when he still has the highest PER amongst PFs including Blake & better than Drummond.

Weren't folks claiming LeBron was past his prime at this same point last season before he took a 2 wk vacation mid-season?

Of all the players in the league, Kawhi got torched by Aminu/Otto Porter this season

-Kawhi in the two games against Porter this season.

    10-22 23 pts (Porter 19)
    9-15 27 pts (Porter 2)

-Kawhi in the two games against Aminu this season.

    7-14 7 reb 20 pts (Aminu 17)
    8-15 9 reb 19 pts (Aminu 11)

    "got torched"

Big Dummy, I'm talking about the one game each for Aminu/Porter where they scored above their season average in an efficient manner which is the opposite of what has been happening to the rest of the compe ion. So in relativity, he got torched by Aminu/Porter. EVERYTHING IS IN RELATIVITY!
