Considering how old the team is, it doesn't make sense to cut a young player who has a very team friendly contract.![]()
Shocker. Cuban and the Mavs are literally interested in anyone and everyone who becomes a FA
Also, Grizzlies![]()
Boo f'ing hoo.
I'd hate to see Butler get cut and then signed by OKC.
Suck my black got!
Crazy difference a week makes with this team.
Thunder
*edit* you just had "Grizzlies" when I quoted you

Wouldn't be playoff eligible.
Anyone getting cut won't be playoff eligible
He wouldn't be eligible for the playoffs, though.
If Butler did get cut, he wouldn't be playoff eligible. So while he could technically sign with OKC, it wouldn't really matter.
That's partially why I have a really hard time seeing them cut him. To cut a guy who might be in his last NBA season this late so that he can't join another team and chase a ring would be pretty ty.
All those teams probably could have really used him. I'm glad he chose to sign with the Spurs. Hopefully he can learn to play average defense and provide instant offense for us off the bench when things get stagnant. Pretty good signing IMO. I'm happy to give him a chance even though a lot of posters prior to this signing said that he's not that good of a player anymore. I think he's still got quite a bit left in his tank. He's just got to learn to try and play average defense and not be a total liability on that end of the court.
I wonder what Chip's reaction will be to his shooting mechanics.
you prolly ain't even black![]()
You're interested?
Love this signing! Martin is a pure scorer and excellent free throw shooter

Wtf why Butler..? This is dumb.
WE'RE STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACKED.
Goddammit this organizations commitment to Bonner is sickening tbh
Cutting Butler for Martin would be a net-negative maneuver and a move.
