Just read that they picked him up as a backup and they're still moving forward to get a starter.

    Thank God

Maybe he will help now since he's going to be backing up a quarterback on the AFC West champions (5 times in a row) as well as the Super Bowl winning Denver Broncos.

There was no place for a play like that during the Denver Broncos Super Bowl win earlier this year.

to be fair, johnsmith has every right to be in the honeymoon phase, all fans get that way. we are all the same after the spurs rang in '14. but the "we just won therefore we are infallible" stuff wont last

Jacksonville has definitely attempted to improve the D in the make it or break it Gus Bradley season. Not bad considering they have Fowler coming back for what essentially is his rookie season and the draft still looming.

JMO but I think Denver made the right move by not keeping Osweiler given what Houston paid him. If they sign Fitzmagic he has a few good years in him so they can develop a long term QB.

he's a good player but injury prone. would suck to commit big guarantees and multiple years. let him prove it

They don`t have material to develop. Their work just bolted to Texans

It will wear off when someone else wins the super bowl.....until then, the championship belt is placed firmly around our waists.

Having said that, everyone being critical of Elways moves (not you) should step back and take a look at what he's done since being GM. Over 50 wins, four division les, four #1 seeds, 2 AFC les, and 1 Super Bowl win. He's the pinnacle of the General Manager le and is doing it better than everyone else in the league. While I personally believe Elway is number 3 on the all time best quarterbacks list (Brady, Montana), I think he's proven to be #1 on the best GM's in the league (for the past four years anyway).

Now someone will come in and say it was just because of Manning....well, Elway got him to come to Denver, and Elway put together one of the greatest offenses in the history of the NFL and then when that didn't work, one of the greatest defenses.

It's Elways world and we are all just living it.

    SUPER BOWL CHAMPS!!!!

he had peyton manning fall into his lap, bro

i know he sucked this year, but he's the reason the broncos became a great team in the first place

Meh, just start with a new guy.

Also, take a look at Sanchez numbers compared to Brock. They are eerily similar.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think Sanchez is even close to the answer, but I also don't think the Broncos are done and are planning on settling with him either.

I could be wrong though, and if so, he's still an upgrade over what we had that season that we won the ing super bowl!

So no one else was going after Manning that year? It was just Denver trying to get him?

i get it. you're a denver fan who thinks the denver gm is the best in the league, that denver is going to be the best team in the league again next year no matter what happens in the offseason, and that you believe a denver QB is the third best all time (when virtually nobody outside denver would)
