Planning to catch it next week. I'm actually hosting a private screening of the season premiere of Game of Thrones at the Westlakes location. Would have liked Park North but way too expensive.
Anyone going to go see this movie? It looks hard as to watch but I am going to go check it out anyway. Drafthouse is having a free showing of it on Tuesday and I reserved my seats to check it out.
If you guys don't sign up for the Drafthouse rewards program, you are missing out. Yesterday was a free showing of Bloodsport. It was at the Westlake location so of course I am not going over there but they are also going to show Monster Squad coming up for free. You don't have to be a part of the rewards program to go to those for free but you get emails with the heads up.

why not?
This was made for the IMAX tbh, seeing it at Draft House is an injustice.
Well...
Well, it's free there. Plus, I'll be drinking anyway so...
That sounds cool, but again... Westlake.
This ing movie looks nauseating. I caught the preview when I went to watch Cloverfield.
The two minute trailer was enough to make me wanna upchuck my Black Butte Porter.
Bend over, I'll ing show you black butt porter.
They were selling your .
rather watch max hardcore clips> hc henry or whatever its about
Can't wait for this to flop HAAARD so we can all look back and laugh at the "revolutionary cinematic style"
I wish I knew what the this means. I see it everywhere now. And I know somehow Thread is involved and the Lakers and Spurs. Any help or a link to the original. Tbh, I have trouble with understanding half of what he says even from the beginning. The only catch phrase that I've really mastered is 'bend over, I'll ing show you..." It's timeless.

Bend over, I'll ing show you a floppy HAAARD .
Yeah I don't get it, just from the previews, this looks like a really re ed idea.
Gonna go catch this one tonight. It's free so if it gets too annoying then I am just going to have a drink or two at the bar instead.
you should have a bunch of shots first. Then when the movie starts, run around the theater and mirror what is happening on the screen.
I think I am just going to wear a go pro while I drive to the theater and while I am there.
how did this work out?
So here is the funny thing. We were put in a drawing for a go pro.
If the movie would have been done without that first person crap, it would have been really cool and fun. That view was making me queasy though. I liked the concept of the movie, just not the way it was shot.
They had someone from the studio there to talk to us and guys in suits making sure that our phones and electronic devices were turned off.
that's seems unusual. were they worried people were going to try to video their movie?
At which location is monster squad showing?
It was showing at Park North. I'd have to look again to see when it is showing.
Yeah, they were really watching us. It went straight to the movie. No previews or silence your cell phone clips or anything.
Either that or they were the men in black and I either did something during that 94 minute span that they programmed me to do or they did something to all of us in there.
