Kmart has been underwhelming tbh
And I wasn't expecting a whole lot to start with...
Johny Simmons over KMartin for backup Manu.
Knocking down threes at 44%. Dueces at .505. Stealing, rockin the rim, Playing D.
Ya ya he still has the occasional turnover. Def getting better. Been put in some 4 on 5 situations lately with BonBon on the floor.

Joe Johnson hasn't been any better this past week despite having played starters minutes all season long & demanding a starting job/salary.
and lol at Wes Mathews this season. just terrible
$16.4 million for .389
Shooting 32% from the field with Spurs ..ugh..Hard to see him ready to play a Belinelli role in the playoffs...that's the worst thing about volume shooters, he is unreliable as plug-in solution for instance offense which Belli excelled at..
Spurs are going to matchup with Warriors juggernaut with only one 40% shooter from 3PT (Kawhi)..needless to say, good luck with that..
I think the only winning strategy to beat the Worriers has been to run them off the 3 pt line & concede layups w/ late challenges. Minimizing the 3 pt attempts will slow down the pace & prevent long rebounds; only take 3s when it's the best option ala the 90s.
I really haven't liked him and his attempts to draw fouls are really bad shots, which is why he's shooting worse from 2 than from 3. I think if you removed his minutes in the Charlotte game in the 2nd half and went with Anderson we don't lose that game. He's not even a better player than A. Miller. Heck if Simmons wasn't a foul machine with a threat to TO the ball when playing outside garbage time I'd take him too.
I still see him as I did in the beginning, very situational player and you give up so much in defense, rebounding, hustle plays that are really something that get the Spurs rolling at times, BBIQ, passing etc if you give him Anderson's minutes that Pop never really commited to bench Anderson and Anderson has been playing against starters and producing more, + he has not been passing up open corner 3s which are his spot.
Hopefully he makes a few shots for us, I am not wishing him ill or anything, Anderson is just a better overall player.
He can maybe sub in for Danny a few minutes if Danny is not hitting shots and we can spare to hide him a few minutes. He might be more Danny/Manu insurance than Anderson's.
In the last game ( against Grizzlies ), he barely got to touch the ball in offense. Nobody other than Miller has passed him the ball.
I guess Martin has the same job as Bonner. If he ever gets the ball, his job is to chuck it.
Shoot the 3 basically. Didn't get open shots from 3'
He had a few plays coming off screens, but he travelled on one and then he just decided to pass to the big when coming off a screen in another. He airballed a jump shot. He might have been discouraged from taking the bad contested runners unless it's an end of the shot clock situation.
People need to realize that among sharp experts Kevin Martin for some time now has been seen as one of the worst players in the league.
Even his shooting has major weaknesses with his release if guarded in a certain way.
I will say this about Martin, the Griz stuck good defenders on him and didn't give him an inch. That freed up other players.
Excluding layups, I don't think Ive seen an attempt from K-Martin inside the 3 point line where he isn't throwing up a one handed leaner jumper.
Thats true and a little scary but he's also gotten to the line based on that move.
He seems to have the same role as Green in offense. Hang around in the 3 point line and wait for a pass. No passes ever came... so therefore, no points.
