I don't think Pop's decision to go out and play the Warriors is completely motivated by getting the #1 seed. I don't think Pop risks player health while depending on a depleted Grizzlies team to beat the Warriors.

I think Pop is looking to get a phycological edge by controlling what he can control. If the Spurs not only stop the Warriors from beating the Bulls record but also keep them from equaling it that will be a strong move against a mentally weak team. Not only that, the Spurs would have won the season series 3-1.

In the same breath, this is a high risk high reward move by Pop. Should the Spurs lose either the game on the road or at home, or both, the whole plan backfires in a significant way.
The other aspect of this is that the team is not yet hitting a gear Pop is satisfied with. They have all said they just want to be playing their game and the style they want to play come playoff time and are probably not satisfied with their performance. They are still refining their game.

Both GSW games this season were unusual for Tim bc he didn't play in one, then sat out most of the other bc GSW didn't play Bogut or Ezeli. I think Timmy needs his reps against this team. And if Pop is playing Tim, then you need to play everyone else. No sense in playing Timmy if others will be rested.

I also think Pop will rest pretty much everyone in Denver game..B2B on high al ude seems like a no-brainer..so he might try few things here in preparation for Sat home game, which i think he will take more seriously..

from your lips to God's ears.
If we end the season beating the Dubs twice and the Thunderrefs, we will really be in their heads like a muther, and it will severely switch the narrative (or at least force the talking heads to create dozens of excuses for the Dubs)

As long as everybody comes out healthy, any result is acceptable to me.

I still think Pop will tank this one if the Dubs get up big early. The only remaining games that really matter are the two home games against GS and OKC. Playoffs, baby, playoffs.

That's how I see it. Or keep the minutes low for the big 3 low regardless.

Except none of the games matter. I wouldn't at all be surprised at 0-5 to finish.

The two home games matter for the 41-0, but yeah, as far as playoff seeding goes, the last 5 games don't mean to the Spurs.

Last game Parker held Curry to the worst 3-point shooting performance of his career. Hopefully the krew doesn't lose it if he can't repeat that feat. I have a feeling they will.

I have no idea what will happen this game.

Will Pop try to win it? Will he limit players minutes? How will Tony decide to play? What is our defensive scheme? Will Pop play the same way we did last time, going all out defending 3 point line?

Until the game starts, I cannot even imagine how or who we'll play. Kinda like the whole season actually...lol.

If those league pass codes won't work you can always download a free trial of Sling TV (TNT included), watch the game and then cancel the trial. I'm not sure if it works for the international s but it's worth a try.
