Btw, I'm pretty sure Pop opened the 4Q against GS with the home streak on the line with a lineup that has never played together before.
The Ibaka thing was a factor, I agree, but its far from the whole story. The bigger worry is Kerr is a much more capable coach than OKC had (or apparently have).

Typical Poop
Indeed. This will be the toughest team for the Spurs to eliminate. A lot has to go right for the Spurs. It wasn't so much the case against OKC. They were pretty terrible outside KD/Westbrook/Ibaka/Jackson that season.
disregard the Isis comments, NSA, I'm not even Muslim or religious at all lol just upset over a horrid game
What the ? Curry had a fabulous game. UGH! Guard him! No secret there.
Yes, I was pessimistic myself, and have my concerns that I shared in elnono's thread, but the RS games are useful for discovering things and guys that help you and some that dont, and all this footage the coaches dissect into useful things. Kawhi will get better.
Here I was messing with unt ...
But honestly this was a very compe ive game.
Neither yeam played their best.
Aldridge was beasting ...but Curry was the best player in a game filled with plenty of all stars. Pop will make adustments if they meet in the WCF ... but all the reckless overconfidence and dismissal of the Dubs greatness seems silly and reeks of insecurity. Spurs may very well beat the Dubs in May ...but not because the Dubs arent legit ...
And if the Dubs win it wont be the refs its because they are better.
Reported.
A couple of games back I enjoyed the auto-refresh on the game thread. I did not do anything to activate it. But I haven't had it the last two games. Can anybody tell me what the deal is?
I hope so, because I feel more confident in my own jump shot than Kawhi's. He didn't even want to take a jumper at the end. Looked like he was rattled and lost confidence at that point. Something a jump shooter should never do.
for what? Not being religious?![]()
which adjustment we can do against this guy? he's like MJ... if he decide to win he win...
Take him away boys!
I think a lot of fans take pride in the "Pop not showing his cards" theory that they believe there's an extra strategy that Pop has up his sleeve. He may have because he's one of the greatest coaches ever, but it's really not something apparent or the Spurs can exploit. Parker, Green, Mills just have to play better. Manu too.
I thought we had the right to freedom of religion? 1st Amendment?
Dummy, Kawhi's jumper was off tonight but he was solid in other areas. If the starter could have hit a couple of OPEN shots, this could easily have been a W. The most important takeaway is that the Spurs CAN control the pace when LMA is rolling & he went up against their FULL frontline. Diaw could be a dependable 3rd scoring option since Porker can't get to the rim against the Worriers & provide dribble penetration.
D-West seems playable when the pace was SLOW & Kyle/K-Mart didn't look like a fish out of water for the 2nd match-up in a row so they should be rotation players against the Worriers.
LMA/Tim
Diaw/West
Kawhi/Kyle
Danny/Manu/K-mart
Porker/Patty
i'm gonna drink a 40 of everclear tonight...
Waterboarding at Guantanamo Bay sounds super rad if you don't know what either of those things are.
His jumper was off but Kawhi plays this thing called "defense", which was the theme of tonight's match-up.![]()
lol,
1) Everyone knows I was joking about those Isis comments... seriously ISIS
2) Even the US President is atheist tbh
24 yrs old and really this is the season where he is carrying the team and they go as he goes. He's really been very consistent most of the season. Occasionally even stars have a poor shooting night. It's too bad no one else outside of him and lma can really pick up the scoring if you need him to.
