Cavs getting away with all sorts of fouls on both ends tbh.
coaching matters but you need a modi of talent..Carlisle stands no chance with a washed up 38-yo Dirk as his best player..Pistons will give Cavs a better series than Mavs to OKC..
Cavs getting away with all sorts of fouls on both ends tbh.
KCP and Stanley Johnson combining to go 4-6 from 3. Gonna be a long series if those 2 continue to play way over their heads from 3.
Kevin Love coming though big time right now. DET has multiple forwards they are going to throw at Kevin, so it's really a critical match up.
Dont know why SVG didnt get picked up quicker as a coach, his guys playing great.
Some of this bench play is fluky by Detroit, though. I want to see how Drummond fares.
There's definitely some fluky shooting (percentage wise), but it's a crisp and engaged game. It's definitely a "playoff" level. Fun, fun game so far and this is how I was hoping the East would go with all teams jumbled up.
Marcus Morris vs The Love Train. What a duel.
Stanley, sure, but KCP is nice. I wouldn't call this playing over his head.
I was talking about from the 3 point line. Both are shooting under 31% from 3 during the regular season.
What a great passer LeBron is ...
Bird/Magic type vision ...
Damn the corpse of Steve Blake is still playing![]()
KLove playing tough, gotta give him props tbh.
Also good to see Love back in Minny form ...
Go Bruins!!
Marcus Morris has been rear for Detroit all year. I used to use him in fantasy all the time, too
Cavs expect this levrl of defense will beat Dubs or Spurs might not even beat Okc better get rheir straight before the Finals they still have time ...but this wont get it done.
Great showing by DET in the 1st half, showed zero fear tbh....
lol allowing 60 points at the half in the play offs
Lebron must be having 2009 flashbacks, tbh..SVG team making all their 3s..
KCP: 30% 3-point shooter(bad)
Morris: 36%(not bad, but nothing special)
Johnson: 31%(bad)
Ah yeah, my bad. That would be great for Detroit if they kept it up though
Pistons are ready and fearless. That's the right kind of mindset for an 8th seed. Of course they're shooting twice better from 3 than in the regular season (!) but the Cavs big 3 is also playing huge and the Cavs are getting a lot of calls in their favor. It seems quite balanced.
DET would be a top 2 team in the East if they were a good 3PT shooting team, so obviously with them doing well there in the first half, they look great. Is that sustainable? Probably not, but it's interesting and the offense is getting good looks and match up well.
Luckily for Lebron Kyrie/Love are healthy, but because dayum, they are top heavy from a scoring perspective.

Reconfigured according to coach and president Van Gundy's successful blueprint in Orlando, the Pistons sank a franchise-record 740 3-pointers this season, topping last season's 703 and blowing away the franchise's pre-Van Gundy mark of 582 from way back in 1996-97. Detroit was 19-6 in games when it made 11 or more 3-pointers. The Pistons shot a mediocre 34.2 percent from the arc, worse than Cleveland's middle-of-the-pack defense against those (34.5 percent).
