They really need to revise the voters for these awards, tbh..I read that somebody voted for Anthony Davis() and Trevor Ariza() in the top 3 on the same ing ballot? How is that person allowed to vote for an official award?
Houston scrub Bill Worell. Explains it all. Anyone living in the same town as Drexler automatically loses a couple billion brain cells from his black hole suckage of intelligence.
    Poor city...

Love KL but how is it Duncan never won this thing even once? 8 first team all defensive teams and not once did he win.. That's 4 more than D-Rob who did win.

Stat era. Greatest before advanced stat defender. Ruled supreme at a time were the elites only counted blocks, especially those that went far out of bounds.

Draymond Green is an overrated defender who doesn't guard perimeter players in a perimeter league tbh..

    He can't even guard bigs

Harlem posted the stats in another thread showing how 4s and 5s have been feasting on Golden State all season.

I have NO idea how his metrics are so good. My pet theory regarding GS's great defense is that it's a result of their offense. Opposing teams exhaust themselves defending that offense of theirs so teams just don't have enough energy to execute efficiently offensively. Yes, GS plays passing lanes well and swarms, but I don't really see a great team defense there when I watch them. Teams seem to miss a TON of easy looks against them, which is probably a result of dead legs from all the energy expended on defense.

Chris Palmer having a meltdown over Draymond not winning it. He's getting destroyed in the comments though.

Dunno wht his Offensive production has to do with winning the Defensive Player of the Year award!? Besides Crymond Green has ZERO 30 point games this season!

And why do people continue to buy the silly myth that Raymond can guard 1-5?

I mean, LMA switched on Curry effectively a few times in the Spurs win over the Warriors. Can LMA guard 1-5 now?

Draymond is a good switcher, but let's not act like you can send him out there on Chris Paul for extended minutes and not expect him to get worked. If this idea were true, then why wasn't Raymond the primary defender on Lebron in last year's Finals?

Kawhi always making us proud, just like the greats that have come before him.

Gaymond Screen sucks. Left off 9 ballots. Those people got it right.
