These games do mean something, in the sense that: if you're not able to get your offensive game going now that you're playing against mediocre compe ion withou any pressure at all, It's not very likely that you will get it later against elite teams and with the pressure on. Specially since this problem (lack of offense), is a problem that comes from a lot ago and, it's not looking like something that could be turn on like a switch.

I will take a sweep of the first round over last years first round exit. Watching spurs out of the playoffs is doable as a fan of the sport. Prefer to watch my home team go all the way to a championship. The off season was so long last summer.

Coaching staff is marking down every turnover and error on both ends these last two games. Evidently it will provide ample fuel going into the next series as a work in progress about the offensive positioning and defensive misfires and communication.

Green is starting to drop his shots in the bucket, Patty is firing in the cylinder with frequency, LMA seems to be managing the pinky better day by day, Leonard is picking his spots on the offense side of the court and still plaguing players as a defender. Timmy has had some odd turnovers here and there. The starting lineup seems to get into some scoring droughts but not from a lack of open looks, seems like more from a lack of compe ion from the opponent they are facing. Just playing in auto pilot through out periods of the game.

It's the Playoffs... it's the only time of the year when the games do mean something.

The worry is that San Antonio might get sucker punched by a more prepared and tested OKC in the first game in san antonio. Even Pop Aknwoledged this in the post game presser for game 2.
lmao theyre too dumb to do that. The Thunder are not scary what so ever.

The Spurs are just doing what they're supposed to do--beat a team that they're supposed to beat. I'd rather save my rants and concerns next round.

I mean you can see Pop and the players considering this so far as some summer league games but then you have people here bumping threads left and right with I told you so Kyle is getting minutes, Patty delivers, Parker sucks cauz 3-9 etc... I mean really ?

This Memphis team in his actual state would probably fight for worst team on a season with 15-16 Lakers tbh... They are depleted

    look at starting 5

    Barnes
    Randolph
    Andersen
    Carter
    Farmar

The only one that could get starting minutes in NBA worst teams would be Randolph

As I said in another thread

very few take aways... Patty is shooting well and is active (good signs), Pinkie seems to be a minor issue, Martin and Kyle can play against D leaguers (nice) in the POs... What else tbh ?
Who are these "people"? Every Spurs fan I know is like meh...OKC yet???

2 playoff wins mean something re
    This.

To say these games "don't mean anything." Well, last I looked...All playoff games mean something.

It gives us rest, and practice time, so I'll take it.

We have had other blow out series before (Lakers in the first round of 2013) but somehow they were more entertaining. Maybe its just more fun to thump the Lakers.

Only injuries will us in the 2nd round tbh. Knock on wood

If we remain healthy I don't see OKC beating us unless they sign James Hardon

Obviously in the WCFs, Eliancito will proceed to go Kermit Washington on our ass
