Did you apply this same logic to the Spurs when they were putting up empty 50+ win seasons tbh?

Let's not act like there wasn't a period where the Spurs were the Hawks/Raptors of padded regular season win stats.

    Regular Season Champs
That literally makes no sense. The Spurs have made it to the 2nd round in 15 of the last 19 years and won 50 games every year in a conference that has been better than the East for a long time. TOR just won 50 games and has not made it out of the first round.

SA has literally never been TOR in the past 19 years.

So getting to the 2nd round is your barometer for a non fluky 50+ win season? Pretty low standards for what should be a le contender w/ that record.

San Antonio didn't do with those 50 win seasons for half a decade, lost in the first round to the Mavs, got swept by the Suns, got beat by the 8th seed Grizzlies, got backdoor swept by the Thunder (who got demolished by the Heat), and you're still trying to act like they were a true le contender during those years?

    Empty wins.

Miami is the most overrated team in the NBA, as I've been saying all year(a lot of known names on their roster make them appear better than they actually are), but the refs have destroyed them in this series..NBA desperate for the Asian market
Weren't you saying,at some point, that MIami was the only team capable of taking down the Cavs in the East?

    The are you talking about?

There was a point, in the West, where you needed 50 wins just to make the playoffs.

Style make fights: The Heat matchup w/ the Cavs especially if they had Bosh.

    -Deng/Winslow can handle LeBrick
-Bosh can guard Love on the perimeter
-Whiteside can keep Tristan off the offensive boards & deter LeBron from driving into the paint
-Kyrie can't guard either Dragic or Wade so the Cavs can't hide him on defense

Now, they essentially swapped Bosh w/ Joe Johnson which means they have no one to match-up w/ Love. The Heat could try attacking Love on the other end w/ Deng/JJ but the Cavs could just play him at center & force Whiteside out of the game.

Bruh I know you're ESL, so I'll explain this slowly.

The Raptors and Hawks (last year) both put up 50 win seasons. DPG says their records are "fluky". I'm taking that to mean in context of vastly overachieving. A team with 50+ wins should be a le contender. They aren't.

I'm applying this same logic to the Spurs' 50 win seasons between 2008 and 2012. The Spurs should have been le contenders during that period. They obviously weren't looking at their playoff performance.

Might be a moot point at this point, but Stephen A. claims Bosh wants to play right now but Riles won't let him because it's too much of a risk.

This is a fun series to watch. I like Winslow and Whiteside. Too much heroball and posting by Wade though. I expect more from Spo' for an offense.

And Dragic seems to hold himself back somehow; feels like he could move, cut and pass more.

Hornets are fun and well coached. Lin is a legitimately good guard and causes folks problems. Houston fans are blind to just make fun of the guy. While their selfish team is mired in the muck. KW is also a stud.

He's the DeRozan of point guards, unless he's getting calls dude is a net negative.

If he wasn't Asian then nobody would know his name. CoJo is a better backup PG than Lin & dude couldn't get minutes on the Spurs.

He cuts well, he has size and speed, and has a good dribble drive game to the rim.

Is he flawed? Sure. Totally. He still has that habit of losing his way, jumping and having nowhere to go. But he also has the ability to really get hot with his shot.

Basically, he's a good/solid bench guard with the expected inconsistencies. Not every team can have a Manu off the bench.

Yeah that's just salty nonsense from you. In this playoff series Lin has mattered. The "DeRozan of point guards" doesn't follow. I like Cojo. He's a different type of guard who is less explosive and capable on offense, but is more careful with the ball and a better defender.

Bruh, Lin has feasted on Whiteside who is getting benched for the corpse of Haslem b/c of his terrible PnR D. In the regular season, Lin wasn't better than the likes of Jerryd Bayless & was inferior to JJ Barea.

CoJo is better b/c he can actually play excellent defense meanwhile Lin is Porker status.
