That's as bad as the Japanese trying to make a monster movie.
John Wayne as Ghangis Khan.
Tom Cruise as the 6-5 250 pound Jack Reacher.
In the 90's there was supposed to be a film led Superman Lives starring Nic Cage but things fell apart apparently. Jesus Christ we missed out on an epic film

Then you had Marlon Wayans who was supposed to play Robin alongside Val Kilmer![]()
lool
You still crying about that?
There is only 1 superman
Christopher Reeves
If only had it been Cage on that horse.
He obviously has a fetish for big men.
That's mean
You don;t have a 178 pounder play Robert E.Howards....Conan.
You don't have a 165 pounder play ERB's.....Tarzan
You don't have Danny DeVito play....Batman
Why not?
Jack Reacher has a following out there in the literary world. That's why Hollywood will be doing more of these novels. Reacher is a big bad dude, so you have a big bad dude play the part, simply common sense.
Tom Cruise as John Riggins in the movie...Diesel...hahaha~~~~ Tom Cruise as Rocky Marciano?
Well when you read over and over again about how big Reacher is in the novels and then there's Tom Cruise........huh?
I always thought Jack Reacher was some sort of obscure handjob maneuver. Something an American soldier would request of a young girl in Olongapo. "Say little lady, gimme a Jack Reacher!"
wait, what?
Not too many soldiers in the navy.
Just another idiot, sheesh~~~
Godzilla is about as poorly done as it gets. As is all that Mothra etc stuff.
The last Godzilla was pretty good. He would stomp all over tiny Jack Reacher. Btw...I've said before that his name was weird. His last name should be "Round". Jack Reacher Round.
the worst godzilla was when the americans took their first stab at it in 1998
the original godzilla from '54 is a classic that is in its own category, and has very little to do with the future godzilla vs (insert monster) flicks
The 1933 King Kong is FAR superior. That T Rex in the flick has never been equalled.
Godzilla was a of an idea but the movie it's self was really bad. And I love monster movies.
there's a do entary about this. ''The death of Superman lives''
I agree, though I have to say, Nic Cage as Superman would've been very interesting. Even if it would've been a crap movie I'd still love to see it. Apparently he's such a big fan that he named his son Kal-El.![]()
