the only good thing about this game was the underrated C-Webb exorcising some 2002 demons out there tonight.

i can't blame him if he does have PTSD from it, I still remember it and 2012. Stern must've been texting Silver from his CFR meetings on how to officiate this one.

Spurs had plenty of missed opportunities though. Hopefully the league tries to clean this up for the playoffs and maybe it might help Spurs further on.
He's knows what calls are all about first hand. Glad he was calling the game and not reggie
    this.

Bigger than Steve Kerr, the guy who hit four threes to seal a trip to the Finals for the Spurs? Sure son, whatever.
    Abso- ing-lutely. Steve Kerr.

I don't think its the ref rigging the game like 2012, the game didn't have this feel to me. They could've blown many whistles for Westbrook if they wanted to rig the game. Just ref scared not knowing how to react. They didn't call the foul on Durant also, if they wanted to rig they would've called that

His jumping around reminds me of Chun Li from Street Fighter. Except Reggie is a tad more feminine.

Ibaka holding LMA's jersey was just as egregious. The ref was looking right at them as well. Mind boggling. Refs also missed about 2 and 1 LMA shots and at least a KL and 1. Absolutely terrible ref job. We didn't play well but we fought the entire game and were in a position to win but we got screwed.

That's why we need to blow teams out and take the refs out of the equation. If it comes down to a call or non call at the end, 9 times out of 10 it's gonna be a screwjob. Let's pull a 2014 Finals and smash the Thunder three more times.

you could hear the pain in his voice from 2002, tbh..
I thought he actually was thinking back to his college days when he called a timeout that he didn't have.

Leonard held brook's jersey before the inbound. Worst 13 seconds of officiating ever.

Can't blame the refs on this one. Cuz they aren't the ones that had West, Diaw, ginobli, green, and mills at the beginning of the 4th when we cut it to 1. They aren't the ones that made Mills shoot a dumb ass 3 with a 7 footer coming at him while Green was wide open. Nope, not blaming this on the refs

Webber actually got ed by the refs so I understand it, but the Spurs can't blame anyone other than themselves tonight. They should have converted that last play. They weren't getting a better scoring opportunity than what they got. I'll take a live ball turnover over a dead ball turnover any day when I need a basket.

Problem with this logic for me is that, you can always point out mistakes. Nobody has a perfect game.
But everybody wants to be responsible and have control, win or lose. Nobody wants to play hard, then get some mistake pointed out when the refs mess up on an obvious call.

With that said, I agree they had a great opportunity. Even if they couldn't call a timeout, they became too hesitant.
Specially Manu imo, he's the veteran there and should have gone hard to the basket. Maybe he has lost confidence in his own body, but as far as I saw he had a lot of space to at least draw a foul.

I'm also thankful for C Webb. It's refreshing that someone on TV is willing to go away from the ref protecting, PR cliches and tell the truth. If the ref messed up they messed up. As said he had to go through that with the Kings so it actually sounded honest.

It's just funny how typical this is. When something like this happens to the Spurs, collectively the media is like well that play didn't decide the game, but when it happens to LA, GSW or whoever the team of the moment is, the mouthpieces would be screaming from the rooftops about the team getting screwed regardless of it came down to "that one play".
