Sucks that Tim looks so bad at the rim, offensively..he's still a far better defender and rebounder than Diaw and West, but he's killing the Spurs on offense in this series..

I'd still give him a shot for a few minutes, hope he can find something for small stretches..

No question this is it for him. He had an awesome playoffs last year and was rolling up till the all star break, but somethings happened to his knee that he can't come back from at 40.

It depends if his bad knee has gotten worse. If not, then the bone bruise (or whatever the injury was) he got on his good knee might be OK again after resting it in the off-season.

That woke up the whole team. They looked like punching bags before that. He sent a message that they had to go and get it. It was the first time in the whole game that I thought the Spurs were going to win it. Kawhi changed their energy level.

Tbh it was not unlike his strip of Westbrook in Game 6 of 2014. That steal to stop the fast break layup stood out to me as one of those plays that gets remembered, for being pivotal for the winner and haunting for the loser.

Anyone notice that Kawhi isn't doing podium interviews after games? I noticed it in the Grizz series, and he skipped it out tonight. Several of his games (including tonight) he'd be the obvious Spurs choice. Maybe he's just decided he doesn't like doing them?

It's possible they're treating a quad or hamstring injury given than game 1 fall. But he's seems spry enough tbh.
