OKC by 14. They haven't had their blow out game yet. Tim and Manu's last game is on Thursday.

    What a ride.
Yep. Let's just hope that Timmy has a classic game for his final one. Maybe some big shots by Manu would be nice as well.

I think Tim emptied his chamber tonight knowing it could be his last home game.

ass Softridge needs to drop 40 on Meth City & allow Tim to retire on his homecourt even if ThurdeRefs win Gm 7.

Spurs have a way of being on the wrong side of historical stats in a situation like this. Like 2012 all over again. Most teams up 2-0 win the series. Except the Spurs belong to that small percentage that blew it.
Like I said before 5 is the only thing that keeps us fans sane with all the firsts the Spurs pull. I guess that is the tradeoff. You have .4, 28 seconds and 13 points in 35 seconds, who the else would that happen to??? Thank God for 5.

It`s over. Kanter/Adams are dominating the boards, Thunder are winning on the road with 20 TO. Aldridge can only go hard on Ibaka, who is not playing much, Parker is heroballing again. Green wont hit on the road. Kawhi can work hard on D, but rest of the team can`t rebound . Boban is glued to bench, West is useless, Diaw is useless. Mustache brothers will kill us again on the boards. It`s over.

I just mentioned crazy fluke things that happen against SA that wont happen again, good lord.... I know its a meaningless game. Dirk foul there in this ones place, cool I will add that one instead.

BTW #5 still keeps us fans sane, no doubt.

I'm not one for emotion-based posting, but I think this nightmare is over in 6. There's blood in the water and no team thrives off it better than OKC. They did it to the Spurs in 2012, and they're doing it again. Harden's absence means nothing. All season long we've been waiting for this team to get into gear and despite flashes of brilliance they've never done it. I've just lost faith that they'll do it now, up against elimination. Game 5 at home, tied 2-2 with a team that has literally no ing fear of you at all, and you the bed? I know those players try. I know they're not mailing it in. But Jesus Christ, they won 67 games and made the AT&T Center an impenetrable fortress. Until now.

Now, they get to go to the one arena that loves drinking this team's tears more than any other in yet another elimination game. I just don't see it. I'm sure they'll play hard, I'm sure they'll fight. But there's absolutely no reason in all of rationality why this series shouldn't have ended tonight. Instead, the good guys are down 2-3. For a myriad of reasons, some player related, some coaching. Nobody knew Duncan was going to become a walking corpse.

It's par for the course now, sadly. The five triumphs this team has are mountain peaks amongst seemingly endless valleys of playoff disappointment. Losing big games they should have won is part of the team's DNA. Game 7, 2006. Game 5, 2012. Game 6, 2013. Game 6, 2015. This team manages to find ways to lose the champion-defining games far more often than they seem to win them.

Diaw/West could, in theory, work. But it doesn't. They get abused on the boards, and neither one can contribute on offense anymore. 12 months ago Boris Diaw was a catalyst in the small ball beautiful game. Now he's a pariah. West has grit and toughness but can't consistently knock down a jumper and just doesn't have the size to compete with Adams and Kanter. Duncan might as well be dead.

But Pop still trots out the same lineups, the ones that barely survived Game 3, the ones that didn't survive Game 4, and the ones that now have lost PIVOTAL Game 5. Parker, who looked like his old self in Games 3 and 4, attempted the potential go-ahead shot tonight.

Why not Kawhi? Partially, but not entirely, because of the refs. I've never seen Kawhi protest non-calls as much as he has this series. I've never seen Tim Duncan rack up 4 personal fouls in the first half of a playoff game. I get why the Spurs are afraid to shoot against this team now. Not only are they long and athletic, but they get away with mother ing MURDER night in and night out and we as a fanbase are supposed to just swallow it and watch that franchise pound its collective chest like it's done literally anything to boast about. The officials took over Game 6 in 2012 and it's very hard for me to think this year will be different.

Kawhi's been shown that he will not get the benefit of the doubt. That he is not Kevin Durant, or Russell Westbrook. On the one hand, he should be the champion he is and fight through. On the other, that is demoralizing as all .

I'll always love this team, and in 36+ hours I'll be following their progress in Game 6 and cheering if they win. But this game, and this series, is just starting to feel like the final nail in a much bigger coffin that the Spurs have been in since day one. Lose Game 6, which my heart tells me they will, and all I'll be able to think about is how much of a nightmare this entire season has been. Which I can't believe I'd say about a 67-win regular season that featured a second consecutive DPOY award for Kawhi and his emergence as an All-Star.

My pick is Thunder by 8.

Who cares how many games you win if you lose the last?
Other than Kawhi and LMA, who is untouchable?
Duncan and Gino are done IMHO just like POP.

Perfectly said. I can't say anything better than what you did right here. I agree 100 percent, just want to give you props for this take.

I can't complain about being a Spurs fan, considering there's fanbases who suffer on the daily without anything to show for it. We have multiple HOFers, a legendary coaching and staff tree, and a budding all-star in Kawhi, but man do those losses ing sting — even today. I don't know if any non-Spurs fans know the torture that we go through despite our 5 championships to show for it. It's always some foul (or lack thereof) and some unbelievable shot at the buzzer that seals our fate. , Game 7 last year against the Clippers, man.

I'll be watching with baited breath and hope they can have another shot to redeem themselves in Game 7, but I don't expect it.

If Kiwi is not gassed we have a chance if he goes MVP mode. Otherwise if they good enough to win 3 in a row I'll take my hat off to them and admit they just too good.

Actually knowing the mojo of the Spurs we'll probably win Game 6 and then choke in Game 7 and lose at home.

Spurs will start out strong and keep themselves in the game. OKC will stay close and move in for the kill, eventually blowing out the Spurs.

Spurs can pull off a miracle because the talent gap between the two teams isn't that much. But give the history of the Spurs and what we've seen games 2-5, OKC has all the momentum and look like the better team.

If LMA started above his average, he has sailed far below it these last three. In game 6 I expect him to bounce back and play above it.

Tim Duncan will have 7+ rebounds

Tony Parker will have 6+ assists

We will see Boban for 5+ minutes

    Spurs win 104 - 96

Kawhi will be the best player on the court tonight
